I was thinking about the new "dungeon" faction in HoMM 6 new expansion. But then I realized that the new expansion still hasn't been released yet, so I have no clue now.

very unlikely since Maxim just mentioned that the next alt class will be for a minor faction, not like DE which has so high population. |
More news, seems to handle about combination of holy and dark spells, like those dreamweavers did (earth and sky magic). Not sure, could this mean level 5 spells or so? Or another kind of magic that an alt faction could use?

As the event is over we must ask our self:
1. Did we all made it back OK
2. Anything else came back with us?
3. Did we do some mistakes in the past that we'll change our present forever?
4. After so many decades, why our troops are still not as powerful as those of the past?

Who knows... but... this part is interesting:

This description pretty fits dreamweavers from the event.
Units of that event barbarian are so much different from Dark Elf that I don't now if it could make start to altgrade for DE. But I think it could have something to do with altgrade of barbarian. |

The Hermit is the Druid who acted as envoy for .ru (supposedly) and was given the Green Sphere from which issued forth the "Mastermind Call" (also supposedly).

I heard before the alt for mag would have dark and light magic if im not wrong. |

err,delete my previous post.
Maybe the one who did the call was killed in the eruption.Due to this event,the one who did the call who is now in past comes to realise that he gets killed in the future,so perhaps he uses this portal as a way to save his life. |
