AuthorAbout waywardness
[Post deleted by moderator Edwin // as requested]
D'oh! Bad formatting. Please delete my prev post. Here it goes anew:

If a player does not take offensive actions continuously, the troops begin to act independently. In order to reduce the probability of troops' waywardness or to regain control over independent ones, it is necessary to move, attack or use an ability with them.[\quote]

1) What does it mean "continuously"? Every turn? Is there a probability to go wayward at each non-offensive turn passed? How much is it? Does it stack for successive turns, or is it the same each turn?
More details please about this "continuously" and the probability...

2a) Is it possible that if lorekeepers go wayward, to fireball themselves/allied troops?

2b) Is it possible the hero himself to go "independent" as well if he doesn't attack/cast?
Is it possible if he does indeed go wayward to turn suicidal and fireball his own troops?

2c) Does waywardness/independence exclude suicide??...or not?
Double d'oh! I give up...
It is similar to waywardness that our troops get when hero consume ale.

But i dont know about the prnbility.

like if we go AFK...troops are on their own.?
for Stupefy:
yes
how about wizard players, they let their troops defend and use hero to cast magic, is that considered to be a player does not take offensive actions continuously?
for DreamStrike:
In that case only the hero does take offensive actions continuously. The troops might still act independant.

I've never seen this. It looks more like the regular AI takes the control over your troops in case of independence.
for Magier:

thanks. how to define offensive actions, what if I only move but not attack?
for DreamStrike:

No need to just attack,as long as you move your troops(1 tile) or use their ability(cast, mana steal, etc) its fine
I've seen players just defend with their troops. How many turns can you defend before your troops go "crazy"?
It is all a matter of probability. From what i have seen, usually after 3-4 turns of continuously doing nothing but defend or wait
^I can confirm that.My griffs went crazy after 4 turns of defend -_-
1)as long as u dont attack enemy or use activated abilities the unit goes independent even moving wont work

2a)it is possible but the AI is intelligent so it wud most probab;y try to not attack urself

2b)no the hero doesn't go wayward

2c)it excludes it ur gargs wont attack ur genies
2c)it excludes it ur gargs wont attack ur genies
I wasn't thinking about physical attack. The suicide I had in mind was more through the means of mass spell attacks, like fireball of lorekeepers/hero.
ur hero doesn't go wayward and lorekeepers killing is possible butthe AI is intelligent so it wud most probab;y try to not attack urself

Yet I just had a fight with a knight that used defense on his troops like 6-8 turns in a row. And there was no independence what so ever.
Next example could be a wizard who defended with his gargoyles for like 12 turns in a row (we all fought each other, nobody attacked him for like 12 turns)

So this waywardness needs more explaining, or at least we should know the formula.
