Even if new barbarian's troops are very interesting and the event was very funny, I don't understand the sense of tribal spirit as their racial skill.
Fury barbs have three shooters in their army, so it means that this army must stay in defence to work well, but they have "tribal spirit", which is designed for offensive strategy; what's the point?!
Ok, shooters can get tribal spirit by shooting, but what about melee troops? If they wait will they loose spirit! Their initiative and speed are low so they need to wait! In addition, their defense is the lowest in the game! If they move forward they will be crushed by enemies' troops.
Classic barbarian's "combat readiness" is useful; It allows melee troops to increase their damage by waiting (and often they need to wait) so the strategy works well.
I'm not talking about pvp, it depends on the recruit count of every single stack. It doesn't matter how strong can be a single creature if their recruit count number is low. Don't misunderstand my words, I'm just talking about the sense of the tribal spirit related to fury barbarian. |

Not really. I find it a lot more effective when playing defensive.

Lowest Initiative is of Ogre Trophy @ 9. Highest of FireBird @ 12
Lowest Speed of Goblin Archers @ 5. Highest of FireBird @ 8

Absolutely agreed on this point. The originality of the creatures is lost thanks to the Tribal inspired Tribal spirit. The Barbarian Fury Part is kinda lost in this.
The down point is that both Shadow and Fury follow tribal spirit. I'm sure there could be a lil more original racial abilities for them individually. :) |
post #42 is just my opinion, but, as you said, AKA, there could be more original abilities for them.
They could call it "fury or rage" and have different effects from "tribal spirit" instead of copying something that belongs to a similar faction.

mean while i am not against update or event, i will participate all event even if i am busy nowadays. And i still believe, as player i can give my own opinion about update and i can express it. i don't know why some guys(big boys) thinking and advising it not good and you better leave this game. weird mentality isn't it:) |
Normal Tribals-
Dampened damage equals [50% + faction skill level * 2%].
Barb tribals-
dampens damage taken by 20%+[faction skill level]*1%
