So Arctic, any clan leader can accept entrance fees and donations to his clan and later kick the member out without any reason and pocket the gold for himself (provided the gold wasn't for the above mentioned reasons)? That doesn't sound very fair - but is perfectly within the rules of the game!
I don't see Arctic say or consider saying that.

I guess leader say the main reason(+ additional reason if any) of eviction if it is his decision alone (if vote result with reasonable, decision is final)
If the reason is already stated in joining contract, then member should glad to hear free invite back or get nothing back.(say, roulette is forbidden any member )
If the reason is not clearly, still member can't demand refund since there's nothing about refund in joining contract too. But leader should or must invite back (accept or not is member's choice)
In this case, I suggest refund is not enforceable unless Leader or council or any responsible group agree.

In this case, following reasons resulted in his eviction
1 - Asked for eviction himself
[Nothing more need to be said, but still...]
2 - Begging from members in PM/Clan chat [Against rules]
3 - Giving false reasons for taking loans [Unethical]
4 - Shady logs
Considering the fact that the "Clan have a right to evict any members who have suspicious logs or have done illegal/suspect transfers/transactions."
His eviction is fair and the MC is not liable to refund him any gold. |

Oh but that is exactly what I say and mean =)
If a clan member donates gokd for some specific purpose, he or she has a right to cou t on that purpose being fulfilled.
Ifhe or she just donates gold with no specific reason, or no particulary grand reason, he/she isn't bound to the clan with the voluntary donation NOR with oblgatory tax.
It is entirely to the clan leader's discretion how to manage his or her clan composition.
It is entirely to the player's discretion whether to trust his or her clan leader or not. |
