How do you guys encounter these 2 abilities?
It is hard when tough creatures have these.
They are deadly for melee troops, especially Dark Elves ( only 1 shooter Dark Witches or maybe 1 more poisoners) |

Get some fire elemental protection arts and fight :)
They are deadly for melee troops, especially Dark Elveseven range faction also have trouble since those creatures having high defense. |
yup, it very hard for DE to win against this creatures,
if you have dragon, use ability of dragon breath to kill it,
but you must have enemy which adjacent to it,
that's only the way I can see successful melee attack without being hit with the shield otherwise magic or range |
some hunts were favor for certain factions.
such as might dark elf can perform better in zombie hunt; while knight can do better in behemoth hunt. |
The best way to fight magma dragons is to try and attack their stacks with smaller units the way the stack will hit its own allied stacks when retaliating:)
Speaking about shield's negative effect - true, these units should be kept in range as much as possible; avoid engaging them in melee as long as possible, while your shooters / casters are still alive. |
