1. These rules complement the General Forum Rules (https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=6), and govern only this Forum branch. Violation of these rules may imply deletion of topics, posts, and/or Forum bans.
2. This Forum branch is for applications regarding:
- Illegal transfers;
- Financial assist;
- Unreturned loans;
- "Multichar" management;
- BOW block;
- Foul nicknames, avatars, personal information.
3. Complaints which are not considered in this Forum branch.
A. Violations in combats and tavern, such as non-sportive behaviour, give-away moves or foul language in combats etc. must be posted in another forum branch: https://www.lordswm.com/forum_thread.php?id=125
B. Violations in Private mail, such as insults, begging, instigating to rule violation etc. should be forwarded to the 'Insults' character. To forward a message that violates rules, click 'Reply' button and change the name of the receiver to ‘Insults’.
C. Instant raising of bids in the market is not a cheat, but a peculiarity of auction mechanics. You can check it here: https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=27
D. Any request in challenge descriptions is just a request, not obligation. Not following the description is not a violation of the game rules.
E. Temporary treaties in 'Every one for oneself' or 'Blindfold' battles are not forbidden. If two or more players unite for eliminating the rest, it is not a violation of the game rules. But consider that this rule does not allow joining the same combat with additional characters or from one computer.
F. There are no copyrights on clan names. Complaints regarding alike clan names will be ignored. Official clans are exception - it's forbidden to disguise under them or present oneself as Administrator in any way.
G. Complaints regarding the actions of moderators, sages and keepers should be sent to Secretary character via Private mail.
H. It is possible to appeal on a decision of certain measures taken against you if you believe they were wrongful. This must be made through the Official Appeal Commission https://www.lordswm.com/clan_info.php?id=6500 , not in this forum branch. Please follow the instructions posted on the clan page.
4. Any one topic must contain a complaint on one case. The title of the topic must contain the violator's nickname (except for cases when it is foul) and the type of rule violation (e.g. "financial assist", "foul nickname", "loans not returned", etc.). The first post must include a link to his or her profile (https://www.lordswm.com/pl_info.php?nick=?????? or https://www.lordswm.com/pl_info.php?id=??????), and any necessary descriptions, facts and quotes from logs. If the application is a request for a block by own will ("BOW block"), just the link to the character’s profile is enough. Note that only personal BOW requests are considered; applications with "Block this character, it is my multi" will be ignored.
5. Any message content other than raw facts about the application is forbidden. Discussions, suggestions, expressing personal opinions, bumping threads to get attention, casual applications without facts, such as "Check this!", "Mults!", "Something's wrong here, just saying" etc. are penalized with at least 24 hour ban at first, with fourfold increase of ban period in case of each relapse. It is allowed to post additional facts about the case, as well as to provide more comfortable links for easier application review.
6. The accused player may post in the topic bringing any defense he or she finds appropriate and meaningful, as long as it does not fall out of rule 5. Make sure you only reply with facts, do not commence a debate with the plaintiff.
7. It is forbidden to double-post applications, as well as to bump them up by leaving pointless messages. A topic closed means that the affair is considered and actions are taken.
8. Before creating a complaint topic, it is recommended to check the latest topics of this forum branch to see if there already is a complaint on the character about the same rule violation you wish to report.
9. Screenshots and text copied from private mails is not considered as proof/fact for any case. If you need to complain about something written in a private mail, forward it to "Insults" (ref. rule 3B).
10. The Administration is not an instrument of vengeance on your offender, as requesting the Administration to analyze the conduct of any player is a serious affair. Players posting false evidence and/or trying to slander/bully someone by means of reporting a non-existant rule violation will be punished with blocking with no right for unblock. | Short F.A.Q.:
Q: I got a penalty of 1 gold with some comment. What do I do?
A: Such penalty is considered a warning and requires the player to follow its request. Failure to comply with the warning will induce a punishment upon next review of the case. Q: I have a main char and an extra char. Can I switch them, with extra becoming main, and main – extra?
A: Yes you can, but your ex-main will most probably be blocked. After all it will have loans, repairs, etc. – all things not allowed to secondary characters. Note that the main character must be same or higher level.
Q: May I transfer all my stuff to a secondary character and play it as main, with blocking the ex-main?
A: Absolutely not. Any transfers between multiple characters of one player are forbidden. Both characters will be blocked.
Q: I got gold/resources/items as a gift and
a) I don’t know this person – he just sent all that to me.
b) I know him – he’s my friend. But I didn’t know presents are governed by the General game rules.
c) I didn’t even notice I got a gift.
Why was I fined?
A: Easy come – easy go. You only lost what you received illegally. Anything received for no reason (no description) or "dirty" reasons (received from hacked characters; as a goodbye gift from a quitter etc.) should be sent either back or to Empire. | | closed by Arctic (2014-01-21 22:39:32) |
