Hello,
May I kindly ask what is the benefit for a player to join military clan? |
Short answer is that it opens up for new features and also challenges to the game. Some also have clan buildings which provide abilities point bonus.
The long answer really varies from clan to clan. Each MC has different policies, and also different return from defence.
In my experience MC in general also has a more established social side than the ordinary clans.

khellendros already named a few of the advantages, but it depends a bit on what you are looking for.
Also if an event comes, then you have to create three player vanguards.
If you are not in a MC you can only join other "random" players. Chances are high that they have a "weak" character (not a full castle, not full arts, low faction level etc). If you are in a MC, it is far less likely for these things to happen.
And most MC's also have some kind of a chat, which makes it easy to ask questions, talk about the game or like this tournament, find a partner for the paired tournament.
And also some clans organize small contests / mini-tournaments within the clan.
And then there are also smiths and enchanters within most military clans, whom usually give a discount to members |

It is very subjective, and it varies from clan to clan and from member to member what is the most important thing.
Personally I never used depository except to fight for my clan. That didn't bring any profit to me quite the contrary. But it did give some glorious full enchanted battles. It also agve me an 1v3 from my phone where I lost connection at my third move with an full enchanted set :D :D
