| You see, in my old account Pythonous out of nowhere and with no explanation I got banned. When I made this account I checked my previous character and it just said, "blocked". Why would that be? Does that mean the time I spent making a Level 7 character was wasted? |
You were blocked, not banned.

It is hard to pin down the exact reason why you were blocked. Was Darlin your character? Did you share an IP/computer with Darlin at any point? Was Darlin a friend's account?

| The most annoying thing is, no. When I got blocked I started thinking about all the things I could have possibly done. I thought about the possibility of having unintentionally insulted someone. But this darlin guy? I have never heard of him. I don't share my IP or computer with anyone, and I have no friends who play this game. And I most likely have not even battled with him, I am (or was) Level 7 and I always battle with characters of my Level. I have never even made any transfers. And of course I will try to get back my character but if the block was unfair how am I supposed to prove it? |
Darlin character was bloked due an sms.
Maybe you click a phising link that come from that character and then he has your pass? |

I tried to log in and then it said I was banned. However, earlier that that day the same thing happened. I instantly went to the log in page, then I typed the password and went back in. Could that have been phishing? And, there is a chance another time a pop up window said I need to verify my password to continue. Or maybe not.. I am sorry, I do not remember because I did not imagine this would happen. |

There are no pop-ups that ask you to do this. My suggestion is that at some point in time you visited a site that may have had the front page of Lords, but was a cover for a phishing page. Again, try the Appeals Commission and see what the outcome may be. |

When you register to the forum, you sign up with your current nickname. They will tell you to put a code in your personal information to validate the account (obviously can't be done with the blocked account).
The forum is in Russian, I am not sure there are English instructions beyond what they have provided on that page. Again, if you need any assistance post here.

I am pretty convinced that someone else has your password, and when you were in that hunt the other person may have tried to log in causing you to log out. Its kinda obvious that at one time your account can only be opened at one pc, so anyone else simultaneously logging in will cause you to log out... Whether or not it was someone you know who also uses lordswm is something only you can tell. Anyway, you should definitely try to make your appeal and good luck. |

Once a case is reviewed, the outcome will be made public there. If the outcome is positive, it may be a short amount of time between when the decision is made and the player is unblocked. In terms of making the decision, it can take up to 7 days. |

| Something else. I just went to the page. Most of the appeals have a red light. Others are dark, few are yellow and even fewer are green. Does that mean 90% of the appeals are declined? |

Well the reality is, a number of players get blocked for legitimate reasons. Therefore, a great number of those applying to be unblocked will get declined.
The Appeals Commission is a player run initiative - Meaning they have to work within a few guidelines. As I understand it, if they do decline your application they will give you a brief reason.
I think of it as an option that we are lucky to have, even if it may not be wholly effective. ;) |
