Are they weak?
I seem to be doing so little damage with hounds while
elven bowmen, minos, even the swordmen and golem deal so much..
any help? |

Some factions are a bit weaker at specific levels. It is usually corrected later. You should also remember that there is a rock-paper-scissors relation between factions. You will have very much problems against some while you easily beat others.

Demons start to shine from level 10 onwards. Necromancers are never weak, with high enough level and high skill points they are like monsters.
But

Necromancers are good at higher levels, especially after getting Counts.
Red Demons imho are considerably weak rather more like Elf, like paper. Only good if they get to hit first + with luck. Dark Demons compensate for the same tho with loads of health and decent damage. |

Watch this game play by a level 15 and you will understand how resourceful and rich the Necromancer faction is. Stick to it. |

Demon is a lot of fun to play.
At level 2-4 pvp is very difficult to win for demon, but for hunting it is ok.
Soon you will be level 5, then you can get succubi and the first magic guild, this will make it better for you.
Ofcourse other factions also get nice new things on level 5...
As soon as you are level 5, go check and equip talents, this is very important... Sometimes new players forget, or do not know this.
And yes, your hounds deal less damage than swords and minos, but you are faster with a larger range.
Try to stand on places where you can reach your enemy, but where they can not reach you.
There is a lot more to think about, but you will learn that by playing... start with the basics... you should be able to hit them and they should not be able to hit you.
When you master that, try to include retal takers .. hit first with a small stack and then with your main stack. |
| :D no way is necro or Demon weak, they are some of the most feared just stick with one as they get more powerful later or switch faction, there is no point in complaining about it |
