Author | maximum debt |
just wanted to confirm a doubt regarding the maximum debt to a player
well the rules says max debt is cl*15000
so this amount is the max that can be transferred AT A TIME to a player
or
this is the max amount that be lent IN A WHOLE MONTH? |
3.14. There are limits for transfers intended as loans. Maximum size of debt that can be owed to all other players in total is 15,000 * [Combat level] gold. The maximum term for loans is 1 month, unless the comments to the transfers state a shorter period.
this is the max amount that be lent IN A WHOLE MONTH? |
this is the max amount that can be owed at any time. |
isnt there a rule which extents the amount of loans with Diamonds one charackter has donated?!? |
@4 no that is for gifts
3.15. There are limits for transfers intended as gifts. Gifts from a grantor to any particular player must not exceed 10,000 gold * [Combat level of the grantor] + 250 * [Diamonds obtained by the grantor through donations] per month. |
ok guys i am still confused......deathisnear and mr. battle are both saying different things
can someone be specific please |
WHOLE MONTH? |
ok......but i have seen many players transfer logs which follow the rule in this way :-
at a single time a maximum of cl*15000 gold is transferred (say for lvl 5 - 75k gold)
as soon as the other player returns the debt,a new transfer is made of the same amount within the same month
this trend is specifically seen in most of the roulette players
numerous examples can be seen |
They're saying complementary information, relationed on subject.
DEATHisNEAR, mentioned the amount that you are able to own, by asking a loan.
Edwin, mentioned the amount the player is allowed to give as a gift, with and without diamonds presence.
As you can see, it's nothing more than complementary information, about your initial inquiry.
For a simple answer, WHOLE MONTH will answer your original doubt. |
i had asked this question a few years ago (probably 3-4 years) and if i can recollect there was indded a debate but the final answer i had got was that at a time the maximum gold that can be lent to a player be cl*15000.........as soon as this amount is cleared a new loan can be sanctioned immediately in the same month
what is important is that the loan duration need not extend beyond a month and the amount be cl*15000 |
As your second question.
Once the person who answed a loan, repay the original debt, he'll be abled to make a new one, for this month.
Beware, if the player do not pay the previous loan, he may be reported and get 2x of original loan as a gold penality. EG somebody asked 100k as loan, didn't repayed in time, he'll be fined with 200k gold penalty. Also this person, cannot ask another loan, until repay the initial debt, otherwise will go against rules. |
and Angel of Death......buddy i pointed out at DeathisNear and MR.Battlecontrol saying two different things :)
Edwin answered a completely different topic :) |
Oh yes, my bad.
DEATHisNEAR only said, that you cannot suprass this limit. |
yes Angel i know that penalty rule :)
but i am still unclear with my original question
let me see if i can find examples to support my question |
an example :)

he received 300k from zybra09 within 2 days

received 350k in 2 days from weed-x |
As I can see, this is open to personal interpretation.
Once the original debty is been repayed, there's no reason to not allow a new loaning on same month as I've mentioned before. However as rules doesn't explicit confirm nor deny that, the safest way would get 1 loan with maximum allowed amount, repay it, then wait for next month until ask again.
But honestly, since the original debt was been repaid, I don't see why not, not being abled to ask again. This limitation, is mainly to prevent a player who ask a lot of money, lose it all, not being able to repay and then quit the game, leaving unhapy players behind without anything to cover them up.
The most important thing is, the player cannot ask more than CL*15k limit, without repaying it first, at any circustance, otherwise, will be complety breaking rules, and may get punished for that. |
and probably hundreds of examples more of such transfers happening at regular intervals
so please clarify this and also make the rules more understanding (all are pretty clear except this one :-) |
By the way, following your example, he may get a maximum of 270k/month.
Which cleary this amount of loaning have suprass that. He's going against rules, perhaps because he didn't knew, and nobody saw to report, try to avoid this circustances. |
Angel my friend exactly my point....the whole purpose of the rule is not to have huge irrecoverable transfers
therefore an upper limit has been set
but once the loan has been repaid why not ask for another one?
i see no meaning for this restriction |
yes indeed he went above the loan limit......but i am not concerned with the loan amount actually as this is pretty clear ( cl*15000)
i am concerned with the frequency of loans :) |
