Author | jailed=blocked? |
after a request of BoW with my former main char https://www.lordswm.com/pl_info.php?id=5707090 the char is jailed now.
It is an interesting question for me, if that means the same as blocked according to the game rules for additional accounts.
The char i am posting now was my former additional account, i wished to play that as main and only account now, so requested BoW at former main.
I donated much diamonds on this char now, want to donate more for entering TG, buying DU, but without any clear answer about that question should better wait about that.
So i am not sure, if i am allowed to post at this forums, join my old MC, rent estate rooms and more.
Answers about that would be helpful, thx |
I switched former main and new main a while ago.
I wrote a topic in "finance and others" and stated in both profiles that I switched main character. My former main was blocked then and no problem yet. If there is any problem in the future I can refer to the forum entry.
Did you write in your BOW topic that you want to switch main character? If not, create another. |
i did only request BoW on former main, unfortunately cannot create topics with jailed characters. But in profile of new main (this char) i wrote that with link to BoW request of former main.
Best solution would be, an admin with possibility to block characters (like Beliar), would read this, block my former main char https://www.lordswm.com/pl_info.php?id=5707090 finaly and all would be correct i think. |
Try messaging Beliar or StripWalker https://www.lordswm.com/pl_info.php?id=699784
They will tell you the correct procedure. Their reply may take some time though. :) |
The transfer log explains it was a Bow request and has link to forum topic already.
I don't know why they did jail instead of block though. Maybe the admins are going back to the old system of the 3 character limit being inclusive of blocked characters once more??
If you do get an official response it would be useful if you advise us in the forums so we know for the future. |
for DEATHisNEAR:
Probably because many chars who ask for BOW usually post an application after a certain time to unblock their char. I think for this specific issue, they put those "offenders" in jail.
Jail is easier to get rid off than block but when a player mentions that the sole purpose of BOW is to get a fresh start then it is easier for admins to issue a block as there is less chance that the player will ask to get unblocked again.
And also if that player does the switch then the main char i.e. the char from which the switch was made can be accused of illegal transfers and thus can't be unblocked.
Thus chars with no intention of fresh start are jailed and chars with intention of fresh start blocked. :) |
an admin with possibility to block characters (like Beliar)
I will hazard a guess and say that Beliar is unable to block players. That is why players are jailed rather than blocked. Lexa obviously has a way to check all the players that are jailed and uses that to follow it up. That is why you see some players jailed and then a little while later some are blocked.
In regards to the original question; If you have switched additional account to main account and written it in your profile, I would suggest you play on. I would suggest that you just avoid creating a new account and do not log into your old main account (if it is possible, since it says Lexa has changed password). You have done what you can on your end :)
Many players who switch main and multi just post it in their player profile and continue playing with their new main, while abandoning their old. |
