AuthorLuck question
If a creature attacks an Incorporeal creature and the attack is a critical hit, does that count and do the next hits have less chance of being critical?
As far as I know, yes.

didn't understand the question...
Yes, it counts like a regular luck trigger.
But is it correct to say that next hits have less chance of being critical?

As far as I know chance of trigger is calculated for each hit seperate.
didn't understand the question...
okay from what i understand, each time you attack and it isnt lucky the chance for getting luck is slightly higher for next attack. and the chance resets back to normal after a lucky hit.

so in answer to your question, yes it would count as lucky hit.and the chance resets back to normal after the lucky hit.
basically it counts same as if it hit, incorporeal, misses, etc. have nothing to do with it. btw @death2all, i dont think it "resets" back to normal, the chance just reduces to a certain % if u get luck(or critical or morale as well) however if u NOT have luck a certain number of times the chance will be a 100%
If you have 1 luck then chances of triggering is 10% in the first turn which increases in subsequent turns (13%, 17%, 22%, 28%, 36%, 46%, 60%, 77%, 100%). If luck triggers say on 10th turn where it had 100% chance of appearing then move 9 steps towards left of the table which comes out to be 10%. Which in simplified language means your stack has 10% chance of luck appearing again which would again increase.

However suppose the luck triggered in 6th turn where it had 36% chance of appearing, moving 9 steps back gets your chance <10%.
It is safe to assume that now that particular stack will not get luck again.

PS: This method is only applicable if your luck is 1.

Formula: P = 0.1^(1+ (9a-b)/9)

where P = Probability
a = moves with luck
b = moves without luck
And the probability of the first attack is 0.1xLuck?
to a maximum of 5 luck
However suppose the luck triggered in 6th turn where it had 36% chance of appearing, moving 9 steps back gets your chance <10%

wrong,after luck trigger the chance will reset to 10%
