Classic barbarian castle needs a lot of buffing. It's weak against every faction i know.
Wolves and rocs get taken out during the first 3 moves. Hence they can't reach opponent shooters. And if your opponents are shooter builds like elf or holy Knight you can forget about even standing a chance. And then no magic resistance means instant death. I know the quote "every faction is best except the one you're playing now" and I'll be getting lots of comments like "stop ranting". But this is the truth. Most players choose fury barb because of this. Both shadow and classic barb factions have been killed by this nerfing. Even shadow barbs used to have a chance when they had boars but these hyenas are absolutely trash. |

Rocs transport ogres right next to enemy shooters. If not, atleast close by. So ogres first turn should be a good hit on shooters unless shooters enclosed.

Orc Chiefs and cyclop kings *destroy* wardens? It's almost always too late to put the evasion on them. And barbarian has archery/luck to make sure wardens are reduced to nothingin no time. You also have hero to push back the wardens.
Orc Chiefs also have higher ini than other bows, so if your TG is fine, they go before all common shooters except sharps?
Classic barb does have weakness. It generally has very low defense. Needs careful play [like every other offense build ever]. But you make it out to be much worse than it is. A full stack of orc chiefs is often the MOST dangers thing in the board, if not debuffed or partially killed. As time passes, the bloodlust starts stacking too, and they start wiping the enemy.
Shadow barbs have been killed by nerfing? What nerfing? I see shadow barbs so hecking often.
Among lower cls in CG, they're one of the most common due to best debuffing potential.
And quite popular among my level (15) too, as ogre shamans are OP unless you have something to reduce their defense, or just very very high damage potential. |

| On the AG thread on .ru people do post their combats, but a bit of a pain to go through. There is also stuff on daily, but I can't remember exactly where. Easiest is to find someone your CL and to give you combats |
