To get best backpack
Need to win all faction 8 times
Thus 8*16= 128 faction to win (assume you face only the faction you need and win them all)
12 fight per day (max 36 faction possible per day)
Thus require 4 day at least to win all faction 8 times.
required 43 fight at least for maximal prize.

43 fights to get best reward is less than in the average event IMO. I'm not sure of what the best backpack looks like (the one shown in the event page is a mere +1 def) but an extra artifact can't be a bad thing... |

Best cube is quite attractive for a magic user though of limited use for pure might build. The rest isn't very impressive. |

3 times is for the worse cube type (+1 defense) as far as I undertand. |
