What is the point of the towers?? I upgrade them, but they always do way less damage than in description. 119-155 dmg right now, but when i attack only doing 26dmg out of range and like 46 in range.
Feels like they are bugged. :( |

they do help, it depends what faction you are using, im using charmer elf right now, and doing fine ...i dashed out all of my manas and still couldn't kill all enemies. .and so the towers finish the remaining job for me |

| Towers are very useful if you are mage, they lasts long so you can still cast spells from hero even when your troops are dead. |

I had the same population already 15 battles before (after 9 wins).. the larger the population, the larger the losses so increasing it gets harder all the time. I wonder if we should take a few losses (to get weaker enemies) after about 60 fights, in order to get max population in the end? ;) |

A very incompetent AI, that require a insane troop boost.
Battles that no matter what faction you play, build, talents, tactics, you'll lose regardless.
All that just for a small fortune of gold investmented (dumped really) in order to participate of this wonderful thing.
I'm just trying to find where the enjoyment supposed to be on this thing...
Yeah, perhaps being abled to kill obsene amount of units due their lacking health combinated with the poor AI tactics could be interesting... But don't you guys get bored of this?
Gameplay wise, besides of these useless pesants, questionable effective towers and houses, how exactly those battles differs from say a MG army quest? Except of course of the enemy composition, which doesn't matter that much IMO, since battles will become impossible to win eventually. |

Then you'll never find an event on this game that you'll ever dislike.
However this answer was quite evasive and protective towards the game... My question was what are is the elements that translates into enjoyment and satisfaction for playing/particapating, how it contributes to make you want to be part of it and why and of the reasons are interesting.

I do enjoy the freshness of this event though, the newness and the challenge that comes along with it, though I do suck, I still enjoy the battles. |
