"Not" divulge did not heed his/her own advice apparently...
You argue that players are using diamonds to get GH sets, I argue that they are developing their LG level and choosing to purchase it with gold.
Okay corey...whatever you say. Sure, you can grind your LG assumption off, and afford those sets. What happens when you have 60k gold, spend it all on EFK's and then need a great set?? Oh, grind again right? It's all about the righteous plodding donkey grind that gets you the gold medal right? Let's not highlight that some players do not wish to spend days and days enrolling just to spend that hard earned grind on a 10/10 durability set...lets not think about that and instead assume that MOST players do this "constantly" because they don't have to think about saving that hard earned gold for the next tier creature.............right?

I am not 'convicted' of this knowledge. It is a fact. That some do...and some don't. Am I wrong? "Both" happen. What is the argument here? That I think 'most' players do that?
Not true. I think that some do...and some don't. What is the argument here...can I speak rhetorically here? Why do people buy diamonds? TO SET RECORDS AND BEAT OTHERS. The whole point of this game. For you to argue against this with all respect corey I will undoubtedly be very keen too...

Good to see you! Verily, verily I say to you I take your advice without a grain of salt amidst it....I 'know' you and I have had our differences but we hopefully :) have worked most of them through. And I would like to say that 'every' post you make to me I read "thoroughly" and ingest it like bread as I know it comes from truth and wisdom. NOt to be corny but I know you have at least some best interests for me at heart here and only seek to make me better...

It's easy to list the benefits of all factions except your own.
If you like, I could list down the numerous benefits of being an elf, all of which you seem to overlook.
I've been a demon (primarily DD) for most of my time and it's one of the most versatile yet fragile faction. But you don't see peeps like us proposing what ifs. What ifs are child's play. There's always a flaw with every faction and either deal with your factions' flaw and adapt or change faction to one which in your mind is perfect. It's not rocket science.
I'm a proud owner of DU at my level, and I DO NOT donate (maybe in small amounts but at an insignificant level) and yet I still can afford it somehow, you just need better financial management. If you think diamonds can make you a better player, so be it. It's helping this game too which I so dearly like.

We have the cheapest luck talents, we have double shot, we have EFKs, high int%, rain of arrows, the list goes on etc, etc, etc....

I have clearly stated that though we have those benefits, others have benefits too, and at CL 8 they are clearly over-advantageous over the elf faction, even if they become more powerful later on. (@Sir Jedi Knight you are cool man)So if you believe that 3-4 Unicorns added to the Elf roster is bad...so be it. I am not here to ARGUE that. "I" am a proud owner of GRINDING(@Corey) myself and 'do not' donate on a regular basis, but feel the need to and will as I want this game to keep going.

Is it really true that DU's afford advantages in hunts and tournaments, fights in general? YES! Is it true that you don't need them to set a record? Plausibly...YES! Is it not so serious at your level? YES! So why get mad at me and say life is unfair, when change can be in the air, as change inevitably happens and who are you(forum moderator or not) to try and stop it?
I have uniquely said, over and over that I respect the admins, and "you" to be in specifics, but if you simply post in my threads to be downgrading to me either one or two things is happening:

Judging by the fact that some people actually agree with me(no matter how long my posts are, which I can say with the benefit of the doubt, if they really were too long...then a word count should be implemented to the textbox, how is that for creative ideas? Please, do not comment on my posts by telling me I am whining, or erringly telling me I am suggesting to buff(reinforce) faction units. Which is forbidden in game rules. I trust you will look them up now and see what they say. To be very clear with you Krabylos we were discussing DU's and how they affect the game. Thank you. A short paragraph is 3-4 sentences. And you should be more to the point when you are suggesting that someone else be more to the point. You gave me many words right there and I take your advice gladly. The point is you do not have the authority to tell someone to be short, or "concise." Thank you for your opinion. It has been justly noted.

** Tips for the Day **
[1] Almost all online game with huge number of players have an element of donation built in.
Donations = gives players an edge in one form or other.
That's the way it is. Will never change.
[2] In my humblest of opinion, this game do NOT favor donators as much as most other online games, where it's literally impossible to beat guys who donate tons of real money.
In this game, skills, knowledge of the game [and luck] play a far greater part in determining the outcome of most battles.
[3] I have been through the woes [and joys] of many of the comments here. I have learned that it's [usually] pointless to spend too much time on the 'injustice' of a [any] game. Instead of focusing on the 'problems', spend more time building a stronger character to compete [may not be equally but goes some way] equally with heavy donators.
..which brings me to the next point.
[4] Diamonds basically equates to gold in this game. I didn't donate till I was level 15..
.. but I was a millionaire by the time I was level 11, just 5 months after I joined the game [!]
What most donators can buy in this game, so could I [if I wanted to]. :)
So no, diamonds don't affect the outcome in most battles, if played [one's character] in the right way. :)
[5] One thing I have learned over the years [yes, I posted/created a gazillion messages in the forums too] --> Don't spend too much time on anything that don't make your character stronger.
Roulette [especially!], building Smiths/Enchanters guilds, quick tourneys, contest sites, posting in forums etc etc, all don't directly make one's character stronger.
Spending too much time on these = don't expect to have a strong character to compete with the top players.
Leveling up in every guild [except SG/EG] DO make your character stronger. You get bonus stats for your character - https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=10
So spend more time on stuff that makes your character stronger. :)
[6] Lastly, there are so many elements to this game, that even at the highest level, you will find that you are still learning new things in the game, including tactics and strategies etc.
So spend more times doing ALL types of battles, to fully understand and appreciate the complexities [and beauty] of this game. :)
If one have not tried every types of battles [including thieving, adventure guild, Survival tourneys, defense battles, contest grounds, Commanders' guild/group battles, Adventurers' guild, etc], one have not fully played enough of the game to fully understand/comment on/appreciate the intricacies of the game. :)
