lost a couple in a row, don't know why i play this event.
I am horrible everytime it has happened. :(
a totally arts-wasting event, no chance for DE
UN is quite good for this event.

Last battle I was close to lose against holy magic wiz. Very though one. I expect loss next battle

only lost 1 cause i forgot i had entered battle and shut down so auto lost on that one...
I can imagine UN is good, for me if they get ranged advantage I lose as when I advance I just get shot down. Sometimes they have so many shooters they can decimate my gremlins before they get a shot (or after only one). The idea of being able to take an overkill hit and then come back again must be good. I wonder as well whether defensive is better with this event. With the pirate event your talents luck etc was given to the cannons, not so with the towers, so being defensive provides no disadvantage to your towers damage. So they will do more if you survive longer and provide a better advantage.

Still will probably carry on with the same build just to avoid having to switch talents and arts around as I am lazy.
is there any gold award too after the event finishes

wide battlefied, even with tactic my shrews cant reach enemy shooter. lizard cant kill anything in first move.

Forget about tactics, use the other talents
the difficulty is far more harder than the realistic combat level, Maxim and Alex needs to test out before they let the event started

Well I use max mino and some termagants as bait so the enemy will come forward and then liz can kill..
Also due to innate swiftness , termagant's speed is 9 so IF any shooter is in front (mostly mobile ballista) I can block it easily :)

I would definately advise making one tower good before getting a second (not sure how much you would trust my advice however give my loss record on this). However the logic being that when you lose you have to pay 20 resources no matter how good your tower is. The second tower means that losses hurt more, and proportionally the gain of a second tower is minimal compared to double shot and no range penalty etc.
defensive TDE is not so good either. often AI ignore your tanky troops and start whacking house or peasant. tested

dwarf : increase of speed, number of attack, or gaining new ability via rune is work better in wide battlefield.

dwarf also have 2 good ranged unit, it helps when enemy take time to reach you and there are many obstacle (house, peasant)
