Dungeon Caves is again available.
Just started since less than 400 players have any victory at all.
And this is the main point of the announcement:

Open for CL5 and up

Condition:
- the chosen skills do not work; (-> No talents)
- the abilities and abilities of factions do not work; (->No faction/fsl)
- battles are possible only in artifacts from the store;
- improvements on artifacts do not work; (-> Enchantments has no effect)
- the initial army of all the heroes is the same - 50 archers and 25 infantry;
- after each battle, 5% of the dead army is lost forever in case of victory and 3% in case of defeat;
- Heroes can join other units to their army. When you win the hero joins the surviving squad and up to 80% of the creatures that died in the stack;
- Detachments can be improved for silver, which can be extracted in combat (special task);
- search is available for simpler and more complex opponents, the number of searches is limited to the next fight. The more complex the enemy, the more silver it can guard, and the greater the Allied squad to join you; (-> Previous event the limit was around 10 and a message appeared when you were down to 5 only)
- for victory in battle you can get artifacts of creatures;
- the hero can hold up to 12 fights a day, unauthorized battles are carried over the next day;
- the search in the caves will last only 6 days up to and including June 26 (+2 days for the end of the fighting, until June 28 inclusive). (=Total battle 72)

Changes in mechanics from the previous campaign:
- Changed the number of the army to be joined;
- The quantity of protected silver has been changed;
- The percentage of the dying army has been reduced;

The main goal is to find and keep as many detachments as possible. The Empire conducts a rating on the total strength of the army. Heroes who have gained an army of maximum power, will be generously awarded at the end of the search.

I suppose you mean 50% and 30%.

No 5% and 3%, that is what appear in the Russian version. Google translate might have switched them in the sentence (I do not think so) but not changed the numbers that appear in Russian.

BTW: I wasn't able to cast spells
Since I lost my first battle :( I can confirm it's 5%:
- 50 to 48 archers
- 25 to 24 swordsman
Wow you are right, that's much better than last time then :)

Oh and on a side note, seems like getting silver is now a much better choice.
Another non-dependent-on-faction event right after portal of time.
While quite weird.
I suppose they did indeed feel a bit responsible for not being able to do it properly the last time.

Now i'll have to once again experiment if being aggressive all the time would be the best policy and go for high-risk high-reward battles or play moderate.

Won't be very exciting if it ends up being as biased towards shooters as last event.
Like with PoT there will be some creatures that one proportionally get more of, the thing is with PoT you get to see that in advance and can decide. With this, you do not know so quickly. Therefore if you really want to do well in this event, it is probably best to wait a day or two till some others have worked out which creatures are best to get (or do it yourself with an alt) and then go for it
You can upgrade spearmen to harpooners, I smell alt dwarf......
Dwarf spearmen are very useful, not too much to upgrade and mayhem helps a lot.
Skellies upgraded to bowmen also seem pretty nice. I think once again a shooter based army with a counter punch is a wise move.

Maybe won't be so biased towards shooters now, since we lose much less of the troops than last time.

BTW is upgrading any cheaper than last time? Then it didn't feel useful to search for any silver.
I do not think that upgrading is particularly cheaper - probably about the same, however you get more crystals per battle - so it is more affordable and therefore a reasonable thing to do. This is much better as last time it was about the un-upgraded troops, which limited the number of decent builds since some un-upgraded troops were much more useful than others.

never played this kind of event......so learning how to go about it :P
Harpooners are ridiculously fun to break formations with and make enemy archers vulnerable.

Actually initially i was a bit skeptical about it because it included " within range " in the definition so i thought it would only work withing that 6 tile range.
And maybe it was once per combat too like most other abilities.

But like how titans can call lightning as many times as they want, which honestly makes me think titans are way more cost efficient than stormcallers.

I'm learning quite a lot about new troops. thankfully those harpooners weren't a waste. Can't say that about the brawlers though.

What are the alt-dwarves actually like?
Alt dwarves aren't fully implemented as a class yet so i'll assume you meant the dwarven units i have.

Of which i have only 2, being harpooners i.e. spearmen and brawlers which don't seem to have another upgrade rather than just berserkers, yet.

harpooners are really fun to use so i'm quite looking forward to it.

Oh and another thing i forgot to mention is that if you harpoon succubi, they can't shoot back, just like all the other hidden conditions regarding succubi and their return shot which isn't mentioned in the definition itself.
I will do like 20 attacks and im fine. Kinda cant enjoy this event. Because ya know 1time :)
Sure it's because of time and not a protest that the event is easier for high levels because they will have higher stats and stronger troops? :P


I assume people are using the same tactic as before with maximum shooters?
