Exactly, 9% from 3 Luck it's not enough to chooce that option.

does nobody consider that you can get up to 5 luck with gear? Not mentioning the tavern drink?

I'd say that 50 TP for (9x3=)27% def reduction, + 50% chance at a luck hit is pretty decent..

actually if someone takes the pain to get a full elf set, they'd add two luck rings and end with 10 luck.
add the fortune genies, and you get almost 40%, which is almost as much as DoF, but without mana involved.

Went to my first CG in months, and first Dwarf I see has it (with 4 Luck, not bad, 12%).

luck goes up normally as a stat, but only up to 5 count toward the triggering of luck actions.

HOWEVER, that limit does not apply to this skill, hence, you could get a lot of luck and the relative damage reduction.

I am sure in a few weeks time people will be whining on how OP this talent is.
the damage of dwarves is high with this, apparently.

6. Increased health by 1 point in Riders on hyenas
1. Blood bonus of the blood of the nomadic centaurs has been changed. For the first level of blood rage, they now receive +7 Attacks and +4 Defense.
This can be bad for lower levels like me.
Infact at recent MT tribals were on top at lvl 6,7 with these centaur DUs. Also I could see tribals are winners from lvl 9 onwards as well, so seems pretty power boost, but ofcourse this perhaps is not as significant as such in higher levels, so all's well in end :)
As a dwarf to equip piercing luck you need 50 talent points - fair enough, but you ever see a dwarf without their central talent, thought not.

In consequence you need a minimum of 60 to have PL with extra runes - this is combat level 15.

Al CL16 while you have 65 talent points the only option left is basic holy - meh

Hence perhaps at low or high CL this may be useful, but I don;t think for me
very reasonable changes, very good till now.

Hope you don't mean ring of doubts... The person would lose 4 morale and more than likely end up with negative morale.

Yes, it is similar to the retribution talent for morale.
Has anyone seen a difference in Troops Settlement?
Before it said "Troops Settlement", and now it says "Place your troops", and with a shadow behind badly put.

The shadow is not a shadow of Place your Troops but of Troops Settlement lol :P
This new dwarf talent is not worth it, they could add it on level as soldier luck, maybe with gaining of basic luck, it would be only for 20 talent points.
But 50 points, when I can get advanced defence or advanced morale instead of that...
Anyway I am happy that first time they modified talent wheels, I have never believe they will do it. Congrats and lets make another good ideas! :-)

Not worth it for pvp maybe since you would want defense talents too but it can be useful if you are playing pve with dwarf.
never mind, you have to waste 8 points at cl 16 if you take spare rune along with piercing luck which makes it not good at this level.
Not worth it
Don't look only on lower levels. For sure you can't expect it to be the best talent ever for level 15-16. You must be patient to find it's use on later levels
I think piercing luck will be good at level 18 when you can combine it with the extra runes and either the 2 def talents, or morale and rally.

May also be ok for lower levels with lower dwarf faction level so therefore less need for extra runes, but realistically mostly higher level only I think.

I am worried by how much the beserker skill maybe increased. Hypnosis is already a huge risk with sphinx immortals, but at least you can counter that. Time will tell......
