Do we have to stay with the same team mate the entire time for the preset option?
Not that I am looking to switch at all, just assumed once set it had to stay so didn;t think it would allow me to choose anyone else at the join option, however it does.
Should time be an issue towards the end it gives some potential options I guess for picking up any missing battles. |

| So I was looking to do some random matchups. What would everyone recommend between going as dark demon and taking defense and focusing on spells for the most part, or going as tribal with defense and trying the shaman tactic? I would take PoS with tribal |

I would expect knights to struggle to be honest in duels. Best bet would be holy I would think, but even so I would expect it to be tricky.
Console yourself that you will be infinitely better than this knight who poor Rage_the_legend got teamed with. Bad build and no antifaction means one super squishy knight.

| I considered it my duty to demonstrate that Knights can be defeated in every battle by every opponent in every configuration, but I think that I'll spare a thought for my poor partners and desist from further fights. |
Some observations from these battles and conclusions
a) There are often 10 to 20 times more people involved in the random allocation compared to the preset
b)There is a reasonable proportion of characters who have weak builds or lack PvP skill in the random allocation
What this means is that I would expect a lower proportion of people getting golds and silvers overall compared to previous paired tournies (harder preset battles, and more likely to get unlucky with partner in random). This may increase the value of the gold reward for these awards.
Secondly if they split the prize pool, then even the bronze award for the preset will be quite a lot as there will be less people getting it.
Does anyone know how they split up the gold - is a bronze award(or any other) for the preset and random going to be the same or different? |

100% true. Atleast people who plays CG are good at PvP most of the times, and rarely players with weak cheap arts, which seemed to be very frequent case as far as PTs are concerned.
Thats why I left playing now in between. I'd rather play CG now, because anyways they haven't updated fsp/exp ratio for PTs like they did for CGs, which pretty much sucks now as compared to normal 2x2 CGs. |
