Barb be the easiest. Just use Rocs transporter ability.
I wonder if we'd get a better reward if 'Lords of the empire' faction wins. |

Good to know.. if somehow can manage to get 90 score early, can use mirror for remaining few battles |

The walls in battlefield reduces range damage ( like castle WG battles ).
So, at beginning if your troops are placed at corner, you could only deal real damage to opponent diagonally opposite to you, to rest you'll deal 50% less if wall is on the way of shooting.
On the other hand, elves are worst choice for this event.. AI always gangs up on elves. |
@67: I played my first battle as Dark Barb and lost against Tribal. There were 2 elves (normal and alt).
The problem is, every faction with shooters will be focused. They killed each other first. I see no chances with an elv. Second problem is, the tribal troops dont pull aggro. His shaman can eat and eat all the time while AI focus shooters first and then dark rocs. In the end i had no chance against the tribal...he waited the hole battle and started then with higher ini (rapid on him and delay on me) and moral. |
Well basically DEF build is usual, my first battle lasted 1h+
Imagine when 5 of 6 are with DEF stats.... too long battles
As Tamer DE i made 3rd place... |

I don't know what a shooter box is. But I know elf is fragile and you'll probably get ganged up on with high attack
Basicly you go 40/40 atk def, max luck, magic barier and defense with max uni treefolk druid and gbm.
You split off 5 druids to use to stoneskin uni and treefolk, while you position your full stack of gbm and remaining druids with uni and treefolk in a corner so that treefolk and uni completely cover the 2 shooters and uni is touching everyone. You defend with tree and uni (or attack if you can without moving) and shoot.
If you kill enemy shooters you basicly win cause its hard to get through uni and trees. Magic barier with aura of magic proof renders darkness magic really week and shooters rip enemies apart (if they come in range and try to breach especialy).
Dof is a weakness obviusly, also if your uni gets oneshot somehow (lizard charge or lucky hits from units like death heralds)
The build is beast in 1vs1 tourneys, works well against DE and necro especialy.
But in this event, meh idk... Ai does love to focus me as an elf. Charmer is prob a really bad idea... |
| For me was the best strategy to play Tribal or DE. I keept Ladons back till I saw the right moment to attack with them. And as Tribal just keept gaining mana and tribal spirit on sky shamans and won on end. It was really easy to play as tribal. .) |

Elf (human) became 2nd - holy build - he played good
just vs Tamer DE(me) he failed...
Maybe elf is not that bad... however Tamer and Tribal seems better... |

i have a habit of getting second but my last fight me and the other human had no business winning 1st and second on it we both got attacked by 3 AI's and nearly decimated early but we bounced back so cudos to us:) |
I performed with charmer on lvl 15 quite good - 2nd (nothing special, not def talents), I put some point in att, rest in def (so 31Att / 49def) I lost only to second player which was shadow barb (he disrupt me all the time while I dont care about him)...
Made some stupid mistakes...

| First battle, got second as TDE. Winner was classic elf with 63 defense. He did not do any dmg but he just outsustained everyone. And noone focused him... |
