Its not necesarily what we would do though, its what they did. The only hint we have at that is how well it fits the data.
How nice a formula looks is of no importance, it is written in background behind which no one sees. It would be smoothed by the admins, which is why I suggested something similar to what the trendline came up with, though not identical.
The reason I am thinking down those lines is also due to some of the coding we do know of. Like for example bonus FSP/durability from Xmas which as I remember is something like number of battles ^0.59
This is not a number you would naturally stumble upon, so how did the decide upon it. I donlt know, but my best guess is by taking some numbers, using human intuition to set what you would want, then get a program to find the pattern. I am applying the same logic here.

if they got online very recently, you may not find their name in that drop-down box. system needs a few minutes to register their online status.
remedy : remove from friend list and add again.
also, if you log out and re-login may help. |

Even i have experienced that problem in some event (Don't remember well but i think we got Robber's bag item after the event)
In that i wanted to team up with Prozyk but his name was not there in the entire friend list (Not even in offline friends) |

| There's CL limitations when creating with friends. IIRC level 11-13 is considered one of the groups. You cannot create with someone outside your level group. |

Really? because if you create a normal battle they are able to join without such restrictions. Doesn't make sense to have a level group just for friends if they are able to join us anyway when a regular challenge is created. |
