Hello, I hope this is the right section to ask this question. How one can get elements if not by mercenary guild or market? I have seen a character who has 4 moonstones (and others) with having 0 pts in mercenary guild and no market deals on elements:

It's possible to get elements by other means. For example if you donate to the game, for every 10 diamonds that you donate you'll get a Chest of Abundance. When you open the Chest of Abundance, you'll have the chance to receive an element as a reward. These chests can also be bought from the Artifact Shop for 25,000 gold - Although this is exorbitant as you're unlikely to get your gold's worth from the rewards.

Another way to receive elements without doing a MG quest or trading them is from the Christmas vault event. In this case, it doesn't apply as the character is new and hasn't been around for the Christmas vault event, so it is likely that they got the elements through the Chests of Abundance. When you open vaults in the Christmas Vault event you are given the chance to find an element in the vault. Even though it doesn't apply in this situation, it's useful to be aware of this. |

Just for further clarification, you only get the chest for that time of donating, game doesn't remember total diamonds donated for chests.
For example if you buy 45 and 46 diamonds, you will get 4 + 4 diamonds rather than 4 + 5 (as your total is 90). |

| Thank you, so basically one can get anything (beside event arts) from CoA? Also buying them using gems does not show in the transfer log? Also thanks, for moving the thread to right spot. |
Not quite anything, you can get some extended durability arts, like sword of might, but you can't get (to my knowledge) an extended durability obsidian sword.
Some of the lower value elements were removed from the chests too. And yes buying them doesn t show |
