yeah that's what i'm doing with my orcs. they are somehow the 1st to be targeted. |
for HammerGoddess:
Anyone has any advice for me for beating 25 ?
I'm having more and more trouble with dealing with the ascetics. i can deal with the other units just fine.
I used the LG potion and i'm using monk / hyena rider / orcs
With the units that you have, try to use Skeletal Bowmen as bait, Stalker to poison as many units as possible and max Ghauls as your tank unit.
What LG potion are you talking about? |
For those under LeG 5, you can but a potion that bumps you up to that level temporarily, meaning you can take 15k leadership into the fights |
Thanks for the help, i just beat 25 :)
for SirM0rphius: your advices were on point, i never noticed how good poison could be in these sort of battles. |
Help me with lv26 pls. |

Help me with lv26 pls.
Try to use Skeletal corsairs as bait + shooters, Stalker to poison as many units as possible and max Infected Zombies as your tank unit. |

Ok I'll try .. thanks for the help. |
Nope it is impossible. My LeG is a problem I guess. |
I lost 23 times on wave 30 before winning. WORTH
Don't fancy my chances on wave 31 though... |

Try to setup a strategy like this:

Or simply go in with all the poison units you have ;) |
2 losses on 30 before I decided to switch Skele Bows for Mercenary Archers
The chip damage they provided (thanks to No Ranged Penalty) let me take out the Dragon in 1 less hit while my infected zombies butchered what was left.
Luckily, my Infiltrators did some good damage to the Harpooners. They ARE dangerous in melee thanks to the larger damage range compared to Master Spearmen.

My level 26 if anyone is interested. Relatively common troops |
At the brick wall again. No matter what set up I use, can't get past lvl 21. Getting wiped by the fireball casters. Spent a fortune on restoring troops and the potion. |
This is why I have invested in leg, up to level 30 with profit in every single battle. Level 30 gave me satyrs as well as of course the standard bonus of 3 diamonds so rather happy:-) |
I've finally crossed lv30, by manually playing every battle and probably no profit so far (no loss either though).
But 5 diamonds? They make it entirely worth it. |
lvl 26 and about 15k losses + i bought that stupid potion to cut my losses when i was at about 5k losses... lol, that was a bad idea. |
for Santremus:
Thanks for your troop formula on level 30. Worked like a charm. Got me some black widows too! |
My level 30 if anyone is interested.
It's funny how going back to common troops like swordsmen and infected zombies provide a safe completion of this level. I got rocs out of it, but I'm wondering how effective they will be. Maybe transporting some ogre trophy hunters into the thick of it can help but we'll see. Would love if anyone can offer a battle where they used rocs and it made it interesting.

Also a little tip, 5 turncoat mages at 88 leadership per 1 serve as a good bait for the fire vulnerability. The ascetics won't be able to destroy your units so quickly then |
