It depends on where they are initially. If they are next to shooters, they will wait. If they can't protect shooters, they'll run ahead.

| Phew, beat level 50 without Earth elementals. Fairly happy, took 64 battles (so 14 losses) for the whole event, which comparatively I think is pretty good going. |

| 2k gold and 3 diamonds as well as some armaments and 3 rare pieces. |
| So in other words reaching 50 means losing all the profits one was able to make on first 30 levels just to get 3 diamonds. It's cheaper to just buy those 3 diamonds. Some people even have a full page of losses on 50 alone, that's like 80k gold flushed away just there, with that they could have easily purchased twice those diamonds. |
| Maybe its not about the rewards for everyone? Some want to complete the event, some are mostly pulled by the rewards, but there are some who just want to see how far they can go with their resources at hand. |

| Lawton, for those that go above 30 it's not for rewards but to help the clan achieve the best score possible. Some people are actually willing to spend gold for the sake of the clan |

Very reasonable, i initially planed to be in it only temporarily but started liking it more and more. No monthly or weekly defense requirements. No tax and contribution bs. I love that its so chill and still keeping in top 10. The clan realizes that not everyone is a hardcore gamer, the performance in events comes from its members naturally which i will admit is something to treasure. |

I think taxation is generally held for those who do not contribute to facility defenses and are mostly just taking up space in the guild and/or taking advantage of the depository/benefits. I have not had to pay taxes in my current clan, and I haven't participated in a single defense yet (mostly because the high levels fill them up quickly). I guess I earn my way by participating in events and doing decently. With the restricted numbers that clans now face, I think taxation is less of an issue for your more successful clans since members are very active. |
