Nope.
I heard that they said it seemed difficult because we didn't know how to play. Was that a face-saving excuse, or did they actually play-test this and know easy ways to win these battles, ways that we have not discovered?

dont fight 1v2 with mages to make life easier
don't fight as a mage either. Switched to wiz to buy stuff as not enough inventory on necro, forgot to change back. Still a close match, but strangely all talents in chaos magic and sorcery did not help at all
and they mean play defencive style dont putt al the pp on atack, but then every battle will take ages ,not to mention u can do 40 battles a day u might even die of exchausting labour overtime
it is more fun to play with difficulty reduced this is way better
Well, much easier to farm (auto comes on quicker) and less expensive as can do it in 55 AP. But then it is just for the grind rather than anything that makes you think. Still good for alt FSP bonus and the MG points will be handy.
Farmed every level and not quite enough silver to have a complete army maxed out. I am beginning to wonder however how my army will fair at higher hunt based levels with only two shooter stacks and many troops of low ini and speed. Earlier I had assumed that with farming you can likely get enough spare left over to be able to switch some out, though this is looking less likely at the moment.
the increment in troops you can recruit seems rather uneven and as such when you pass the invisible point of levelling up you can then recruit loads more. As such in these instances which you upgrade first may be critical as even with farming you will not have enough silver to do it for all.

To be fair, it was winnable as attack, therefore defensive would have been winnable as well. They explain what people were doing wrong on the .th thread

No lol if you remove them they go to your army list, remove option is there if you wanna replace an unit with another. Same as dungeon.

Ok so it just isnt me. I think lvl 13 might not be balanced right. Other lvls are using min ap and I'm having to fight some of these over and over with max ap
Abilities of new units are not on the lords profile, but are on the .ru website, if you use translate on this it is sufficiently passable to under stand, so for example

if they take damage there initiative increases by 2 and their attack by +5 for 2 turns
They have attack of +4 against large creatures in offence and +4 in defence on retal etc

They have a chance of scaring the target (presumably same as fear) and others in the 6 squares in front, gaining +1 morale and 10% health if successful. The chance is twice the size against small targets compared to big.
