While life in the Empire continued to go on as usual, somewhere deep beneath it, in the gloomy depths of underground caves, preparations were under way for the next stage of a secret rescue operation. According to the assurances of the governor of Grammite, everything was ready - and volunteers from among the Heroes were just waiting for news from the scouts. Most of them have already returned with nothing, stumbling only on dead ends and debris, but it was early to surrender until the last of them returned.

A steppe barbarian, accompanied by several steppe goblins, carefully moved deep into the dark caves. And with each step the darkness around became stronger and thicker. It seemed as if she was beginning to gradually absorb the light of the torch. But an experienced imperial scout was such a simple optical illusion. But a sudden eerie roar echoing through the tunnel made me flinch, but still did not deprive of determination. At least, not all ... Turning around, the barbarian only noticed the silhouettes of goblins fleeing in fear in the dark. Spitting contemptuously, he decided not to waste time and went on to study the positions of the enemy, until all the heroes of the Empire, who were waiting for a go-ahead, responded to the cries of these cowardly creatures.

Brave Heroes! Voivode Grammy in a secret message announces the beginning of the next stage of the rescue operation in the depths of underground caves. The conditions are the same - complete secrecy and no personal armies. And special successes in the course of the operation this time will be encouraged not only by combat potions, but also by parts of a special artifact .

Combat briefing:
- all Heroes from the 5th combat level are allowed to participate in the operation ;
- selected skills do not work;
- the skills and abilities of the factions do not work;
- Fights are possible only in artifacts from the store;
- improvements on artifacts do not work;
- the initial army of all heroes is the same - 50 archers and 25 infantrymen;
- after each fight5% of the lost army is lost forever in case of victory and 3% in case of defeat (each stack is calculated separately) ;
- Heroes can attach other units to their army. Upon victory, the surviving squad joins the hero and up to 80% of the creatures killed in the stack;
- units can be improved for silver, which can be mined in battles (special task);
- search for more simple and more complex opponents is available, the number of searches is limited until the next battle. The more difficult the enemy, the more silver he can guard and the larger detachment of allies can join you;
- for winning in battles you can get artifacts of creatures;
- at the end of the operation, the Empire will award all Heroes with goldwho have won at least one victory;
- if the army reaches 10,000, each victory will be additionally rewarded with points of the Hunters Guild ;
- if the army reaches 12,500, each victory will be additionally rewarded with points of the Mercenary Guild ;
- when reaching the army capacity of 15,000, each victory will be further encouraged by combat potions that can be transferred, sold on the market or used to get an increase in the parameters for a day:





- up to 10 fights can be conducted per day , unplayed fights are postponed to the next day;
- the rescue operation will last only 8 days until May 14 inclusive (+2 days for the end of the fighting, until May 16 inclusive).

Attention! The voivode reminds of a fairly high level of danger at such a great depth, and therefore do not even expect to meet there troops of cowardly goblin steppe. Even if it seemed to you that because of the next corner, their pleas for help are heard - do not believe this is just an illusion. It is better to focus on your goal, because the personal success of each Hero will be further encouraged by parts of a special artifact :

This event tends to pay back with rewards due to the potions if you do well enough.
As such use good arts if you have a decent shot (good stats and experience at it)

Enemy strength is based upon your current army, not your silver. Equally the more of one troop you have, the proportionally less you will find of that creature. This is based upon the creatures value, not the number of them. As such make sure you have sufficient of them before you upgrade.

There will come a point later on when your army is fixed and set, at this point farm for creatures you will not use to increase your overall army strength even though it will not affect your fighting army strength.
As such use good arts if you have a decent shot (good stats and experience at it)

Smh lost on first day... Got forced into a bad matchup. Is it just me or are the gains severely lowered for this event? I mean 3 priests? Really?
So I have a big problem with this event...


Why is it the mirror event had 15 battles per day while this only has 10

I would be happy with 20 per day:D
Thanks Meshy, was too lazy to look if I am honest (and I pretty much always am)

To summarise, lollies work, elixirs or potions don't.

I have 3 lollies left, therefore will do later on when I can use their advantage more fully.
Any tips on best arts to wear for lvl 11?
I am considering wearing the following arts for this

Signet Ring x2
Sword of Might
Light Mithril Coif
Light Mithril Boots
Platemail
Warrior Pendant
Maskrobe
Shield of glory

The intent is to maximise ini and def. But I am pretty doubtful about the cost. It will require a minimum of 70-80k gold and im doubtful if ill be able to recover all of it.
dont maximise defence, ignore defence and maximise attack
So, I have Priests and the cost to upgrade them to Ascetics is 0.
When I click it, it asks for confirmation and when I confirm, it doesn't upgrade.

Has anyone else experienced this with respect to alt Dwarf troops?
