Something changed with the last 10 battles, it seems. On fight 77, I had to use 19 searches before I found one that offered silver. Battle choices in general were just very poor today, but maybe it's just me. I wasn't able to beat my score from last time, but maybe I would have if I didn't suffer consistent losses in the last 10 fights today.
Nooo my favourite event, why did it have to be during my busiest time :'(

On a side note, insane that it's been about half a year since this came last time, time has been flying fast it seems.

Same for me, it was very difficult to find a decent silver battle

Slightly annoyed that I clicked the wrong upgrade button after working it all out. should have had 138 more strength, but hey ho, won;t really change too much in the end.

In the last event this would place 61st, though not sure I will stay in top 100 when all is done.

I reckon top score is going to be more like 33k compared to the 31k of last event, and I reckon some from here are likely to get it.

Messed up the last day
What art do people think there will be, only slots not released for dungeons set is weapon, back and boots. Since I got a decent score I am hoping for weapon slot, though I think it will probably be boots :(
just out of interest...has anyone played any other build with any level of success. I am contemplating trying some different and fun builds next event as it seems everyone has the same similar builds these days.

i struggled this event in truth, apart from a plethora of errors during the battles, i also didn't choose the best upgrades. My main struggle was to find the "right"stacks early on. Ended up been forced to take stacks that work but aren't first choice.

was wandering if you took a mix of fiends, cerb, shrews, sphynx, genie, and few debuff (confusion casters) might work?
I think for a build to work and compete it needs to work all the way through, blazing hounds can deal a lot of damage, though wolfhounds will accrue damage before they are upgraded, similarly with rogues before tey become shrews. demons prior to fiends would not work well at all.

Hydras would be an option for that as well, though you would be forced to go to them.

If trying for a mostly melee army I think you would need cyclops to get cyclops shamans for blind to mean you do not charge straight into a shoot up.

While it could be interesting, I do not think it likely to compete with a pure shooter build that can afford to really pump attack over defence.
Wow, it's really impressive guys. You have lighter opponents than me. I ended with

My tactic was to overcome enemy ranged units, so i choose often troops instead of silver.
As a comparison for big armies, I was quite impressed with this one, considering he is only level 5!

A passage in the announcement says, "Since the blood vessels of tribal goblins cannot cope with pressure at such depths, you would not meet these creatures."

I've never quite understood why these creatures are singled out. I assume it's to prevent tribal beholders and unfettered cyclops from gaining the shooting ability, and sky shamans from casting the chain lightning spell. But if so, then why do I see goblin trappers? Why aren't they excluded?

What's the deal with these goblins?

I gained enough HG points from these Dungeon caves battles to get HG 6, but I'm stuck at HG 5.

I did a WG battle just to see if it would fix it, but it didn't. What's going on?
Oh wait, I should do a hunt instead. Let me try that.
So, doing a hunt fixed it. I'm curious why it was implemented this way. I am aware that your CL is fixed while you're in a tournament (so that you can choose to complete the tournament at the same CL), but why is HG level fixed for this event? What purpose does that serve? You're not competing against people of the same HG level.
