It's the same for any guild, if you gain the points through an event then it won't level the guild up, you need to complete 1 of the relevant guild battles
That sounds like a bug to me.

Ex - HG point from STs doesn't lvl your guild as well, you need to do 1 more battle.

That's really not a reason for its not being a bug. All that says is that the bug has been around for a long time.

There's no logical reason for its behaving this way. It sounds like their implementation of CL leveling trigger spills into guild leveling.

That reasoning is ... bizarre. There are lots of bugs in the system that they don't bother to fix because, for some reason, they don't deem them worth fixing.

Your, or indeed any of our interpretations of what should be correct or not is immaterial, what matters is whether the admins intended it or not, and without them saying neither can trump the others argument.

However, within this they are more than capable of coding things such that you do level up the moment you get sufficient points in that guild. As such they have clearly deliberately coded certain situations where this doesn;t happen. Sensibly in tournaments. Whether this is deliberate in this instance, well it doesn;t matter, you can believe one thing and I will another.
It does make sense that you actually have to do a hunt to level up your hg, or a quest to level up your mg. the only one I would say is strange is that as a ranger you can defeat a thief who ambushes you, but that won't level up your rg, you have to take a rangers challenge and win

Like you have to do a battle with the faction you have leveled up with a real battle with actually using the army and talents and not just the hero, I don't thing it's a bug.

all these arts are so similar they give out. need something diffirent aswell
The thing is these arts serve no real purpose anymore to have great value.

IF looking for interclan warfare arts then these are expensive and will be dominated by imperial artifacts etc, so these are not going to compete on that level.

For AG there are a large number of sets that are good enough for it, many of which people have a complete set already so why bother saving for a dungeons one.

As such they have inherently less value.

Making the stats much better to give them value then leads to a natural gradual escalation in the stats of arts which is not healthy either (eg ring of cold issues that arose with one OP art).

It is just the way of things really with no easy bypass. I guess why the leaders guild troop reward got implemented as well to reduce this impact.
Maybe they should remove the shop-art-only restrictions for some events again.
