Charmer elf

So I am in battle and this charmer elf has no arts/item that guves him spell power or knowledge.
And his talents are Adv leadership, rally and innate swiftness.
So where is this spell power and knowledge coming from?
His stats on his page:

so where is this 19 spell power and knowledge is he getting in the game?
Charmer Elf racial ability:

Forest energy
This ability is available to Charmer Elf. The lord's knowledge parameter increases by one point for every four points of attack. The lord also accumulates spell power during the battle by taking and dealing damage.
Accumulated spell power cannot exceed [lord's attack]*(70%+3%*[faction skill level]).

Thats what all new classes are like now, can do magic without harming stats
how is that balanced? I put the same amount of money (in arts) in a battle as that elf, tbh he had worse but he just outscales me like that is so stupid bruh
ok you give them passive but they shouldnt have 25 spell power by their 2nd turn.
Make it weaker like okay give it some late game scaling so they play safe and not like a mianiac who just runs it down BECAUSE THEY ARE TANKY ALR and if they make mistakes THEY should be punished and not just scales better than me.

My alter faction gives me 30 minotaur that WILL die before it even reaches to druids and does a single freaking attack bruh

They shouldnt and they havent 25 spell power by their 2nd turn. Their spell power increases by dealing and getting dmg. Also they didnt have a lot of "meat" so, as u said, they could and may be punished for mistakes.

Your alter faction is better on highest lvls and to prevent dying before reaches victim your alter faction should be in deffense build. U need a lot of stats in armor.

Charmer elf is probably the most glass cannon faction in game really, both in terms of meat, and the fact that it has to be played with high att low def.

If you get to two rounds, where the damage dealt by the CE is not more than 1.5x the damage dealt by you, there is a very good chance for you to win (assuming you will engage his troops easily thereafter, getting the pieces in place)
Charmers are good for pvp, classic de is bad at pvp

nah point is in 3v3 they are so freaking strong

i feel like i dont know how to play CE anymore.... i used to do WG, now i can bearly win. (afther a 2 year pause)
CE is ofc not the best option for WG. Play classic elf for best results. :)

haha, charmer elf is not that special bro. Battlewise wizards do the same thing. Except I believe their knowledge stats go into attack so its the other way around. Pharaoh gets free spell power when casting mass spells too. Unholy Necromancer can play with vampires 3 times before u can even move. Even classic wizard can have 100 defense units with holy build and mini artifacts :p

Dwarfs gets to use runes.

The real skilled factions for REAL pvp are as below (no nonsense or cheesey games):
Classic Knight
Classic Elf
Classic Necromancer
Classic Demon
Classic Barbarian
Classic Wizard (Magic build)

Winning against a faction that is clearly at an advantage over yours is what 'Real Skill' is? Surviving a bad morale or luck proc and still coming up the winner, there can be so many examples for skill lol. You can't confine 'Skill' to just a few factions.

CE is clearly a glass cannon. You either have some shooters to kill their ranged and rush your melee to corner their troops before the spells rain down, or lose.
You can only say a faction is OP when there is zero strategy against it.

Some factions are just weak against some others at certain combat levels. Balancing isn't easy, so we should just make lemonade with the lemons we get :)
I agree with void moon, its more of a stone paper scissor situation with faction match ups, no faction is Truly OP.

Those factions listed above do not counter each other.
They are skill matchups.

Sure there is luck involved but not as much as full attack dwarf/CE or defense build.
The game was more balanced with just classic factions compared to the broken ones now.
Rock Paper Scissor comparison is only limited to match ups like
Fire Dwarf v/s Defense Tribal
Battle Wizard (Golems) v/s Any Mage

Otherwise I think all are skill (+ Luck because of morale & luck) dependent.

I mean, it's a 0 to 100 if an Elf gets Luck + Critical in first turn. But I guess that's the point of any glass cannon build.

Mate playing every faction requires skill. Likewise playing CE requires skill too. And trust me playing CE is quite hard. Your troops will be the first ones to be targeted. One wrong move and the game is over. Though one nice move can end opponents game too. :P
