Author | Is it possible to revive an ancient military clan? #153 LoS |
Is it possible to be recruited by or transfer leadership of an old clan? Has this ever happened before?
I was heavily involved in the leadership of #153 league of shadows before the merge (different char name) and wondered if it is possible to resuscitate it or
somehow become the leader?

The long term leader limustudotcom has not logged in since 2013, none of the recruiters have logged in for many years
I'm not interested in making it a powerful clan or winning facilities but the name/number have a sentimental value. I would not want any players currently on the clan list to be removed by re registering the clan or making LoS 2.0 |
3.29.2. It is possible to ask an Administration representative to reassign the clan leadership from leader to deputy in the following cases:
- Military clan: clan leader is absent from the game for 3 months or more; the leader has not prohibited to reassign leadership in his clan in his or her personal information page;
- Clan with blocked leader: the leader does not have "Not to be unblocked" seal in his transfer log; the leader is not blocked for financial assist, insults or SHL; at the moment of block the clan counts more than 50 members.
It is possible, you have to talk to the administration and see what they think. I would really love to see the LOS symbol in the forums again ( though i hope its not effing queen amanda lol) |
Who is best to contact? I messaged lexa and secretary, it didn't allow me to message empire or santa claus. I never know which inboxes they look at. |
Try Belair, but bets are Lexa is the right person to contact |
LoS sure was an amazing clan. Would definitely love to see LoS symbol in the forums. |
It would be cool if Los was around again. |
It might be possible to contact RicHunter whose alt (Lord Richunter) is recruiter of LoS still. |
Thanks to all for info, have received a response from both lexa and secretary. Both initially said no so will try and negotiate/explain a bit. Hard to make a case via translate. |
I'll keep this thread open so you can give updates if you so want :) |
Always nice to see an old .com clan hope you can do it and wish you all the luck |

That is a poor reason for having it back. And the hassle of leadership transfer without any merit.
People here are saying stuff about logo which is irrelevant if not a bit dumb. The members are still there in the MC to carry the logo, just that they are completely inactive. Unless you are able to recruit considerable number of active players to join this inactive MC, it wouldn't make any difference regardless. To revive the clan, you would have to replace the current players which you stated that you don't want to, and the whole thing seems a tedious affair simply because you are sentimental. |
I don't think it's dumb, carrying on a strange old tradition doesn't necessarily have to make complete logical sense. Sometimes we do it just because.
It is naive to think I would suddenly be able to recruit 100 new players and we could win facilities and events but that doesn't have to be the purpose. Would it be nice to preserve it for the handful of players it means something to? For me yes.
Is tending an old friends grave and placing fresh flowers worth it? It doesn't change anything or really do anything, but sometimes it's nice to reminisce and remember when others have forgotten. |

;_; |
for Acean:
The affection towards a clan's logo and reviving a clan for that reason alone when it has no active players is dumb. If you will try to recruit players and actually revive the clan, then it is a sensible thing and it will be worthwhile. But, without that I fail to see how will making you the leader cause the MC and its players to be "preserved?"
About your analogy of old friends grave, I don't know what to say to that :P I am not sure if this is something comparable but it seems to be a good point in favor of the sentimental "logic" |
