it actually does prove it given that there exist some players who are not evenly matched,
But it is a 2 player situation. And the condition stated in question does not allow you to assume that players will not be evenly matched (no info is given). I did say in #392 that with a skill difference, 2 rounds will be more likely than 3 rounds. But we don't know anything about the game. It could be a coin toss game or any random outcome game where skill does not factor.
Either way, what you are trying to say in #399 is not consistent with this:
once we start varying this p from 1 to 0 we can clearly see that it is more likely that the game will be settled in two trials at the edges of these limits while it becomes equally likely that it will be settled in 3 and 2 at the P=.5 mark which would have an identical sample space to three coin tosses. So over the interval P varies from 1 to 0 it is more likely that the game will end in two tries. I might be completely wrong about this as well but this is what i think. |

I agree in retrospect but my thought process was that without rapid the chances of catching 2 creatures with 20 ini and 4 morale was very limited so well , but you are correct
