Have you ever thought the problem is in you and not in admins? It is like doing hunts in fully enchanted gear and being mad at admins for giving only 1-2k gold when you spend 15k on gear.
In this event I ended up with decent position and gold reward alone covered all my arts costs. |

If the event requires u to use full enchants, then u should be COMPENSATED as so.
So u need to have a good position to be compensated? Like i mentioned last event, good art for top players, gold compensation for the REST.
It is not the player's fault he or she tried and didn't make it to the top.

175 creature capture battles, assume all win - 175
Assume u use min ap for everything, 130 gold per battle?
Maybe throw in 30k for enchants and beastbane arts? ok
130 x 175 = around 23k + 30k, say 50k total spent
144 battles for event, best arts - 144
Ring of cold x 2 = 220 x 2 = 440
Sword of cold/ Blade of rebirth = 300
Clover = 300
Cape of sun = 250
Shield of cold = 250
Armor, headgear, boots = 500
Around 2k gold per battle, 2k x 144 = 288k gold spent
So total gold spent in event is 288 + 50k = 340k?
Is wrong for players to ask for 400k? or 500k?
Its wrong for players to hope to make some pennies so they can build some castles?

Haha, I had a feeling those that tried to go as high as possible would end up with a huge loss in gold. I just went for the SP for my lesser factions in minimal AP, did all levels from level 1 three times all the way to level 32 and somehow ended up with profit.

Total combats: 101, Victories: 96
Claimed reward:116,040
What I find weird is that Diagnosis defeated max level 46 with almost 1k crystals more but still got over 40k less gold than me. |

^ I can agree with that. It is extremely silly to see players NOT wanting additional gold and being ridiculous about it. Also I am not arguing over your silly opinions anymore unless it regards the thread title which is the PoT event.
Only in lordswm do we have players who are poor and don't want more gold for playing events. |

I have got almost 156 k gold back. Not complaining at all. I did it mostly for fsp with other faction, while had enough fun.
Btw, creatures capturing was pretty easy with wizard. No enchants needed. |

You rushing in and losing tons of times and getting bad score is your fault.
But i guess only way you learn is through losing and suffering... hopefully.
If you took your time and chilled out you could get way more gold. |
