The sad part is i got to a high level so fast that i got stuck lol. couldn't play easier battles so i just kept losing at the hard ones.

Why were you not able to play lower levels for crystals? Does this event block previous waves once you cross that 5th - 10th mark? |
I got stuck at 45 and then went back to play all the low level repeats allowed. Too bad, they only allow you going back to level 27 when you've cleared 44. Otherwise, I would go all the way back to level 1 if the battle counts allowed :-D
Feels good when auto-battle level 30s with level 40 army after being abused by those high level enemies.
Now I'm stuck at level 48 too and 77 wins over 114 attempts.

Based on my own experience, they block levels 18 lower than your cleared level. They don't want you to feel too good. ;-) |

I have 76 wins out of 144 battles lol.
I have only 57 wins in 87 fights. Will stop with a little over 3000 points. Too bad I didn't had enough time to play this event... |

Just as I worry about how to spend a Day of Builder with empty coffers. The reward for PoT came in. Gold 132,182 for 3,689 crystals and 77/114 wins. Not bad! :-D

Man, that's a cool assisting strategy for the trees. I have a stronger army than you but managed them ineffectively and should definitely have kept some druids in my army.

When I was at 45 (cleared 44), I could play all way back to 27. Maybe they count the # of battles instead of # of levels. You played skipping levels. I played each level from 20 at least once and repeated 40-44 three times when I was at 45. |

average of 1k gold per combat, huge loss this event excluding enchanted arts or beastbane sets used for hunting creatures.
Probably made a 200k loss this event.
