| Hi, so since I never tried the weapon enhancement feature, and never gave any items for enhancement before, just wanna survey how is it calculated. I know it depends on the person I’m sending my item to but hypothetically, how much would a max enhancement cost? I see in the market there’s some items enhanced and they cost around 950k to buy them? Haha looks of it, it ain’t cheap to actually enhance them right? |

I can't seem to find the table but a max enchant (5x12) costs 45 of each element pair + 10 fern flowers.
The exact cost fluctuates dependent on market price of elements. |

Elements are required for enchanting.

How many elements you send depends on the enchanter's weaponsmith level or armor smith level or jewellery smith level. (depends on what you send).
At the bottom of this link, you can find how many element sets are needed for what % of enchant.

For example, I can enchant weapons up to 10%. I usually just take the elements needed from the person and not gold to enchant.
Say you wanted to enchant 10% earth elemental damage and 10% air elemental damage. You'd send me the item (1 day or any amount, 0 combats, repairing allowed) and 30 elements of each element needed for the enchant: 30 meteorite shards, 30 toadstools for earth, 30 windflowers and 30 witch blooms for air.
Depending on the enchanter and if no enchants are on the weapon, they might ask you for fernflowers since those are necessary to start an enchant on a weapon if no enchant has been made.
1st enchantment – 2 fern flowers;
2nd enchantment – 4 fern flowers;
3rd enchantment – 6 fern flowers;
4th enchantment – 8 fern flowers;
5th enchantment – 10 fern flowers;
so to open 5 enchants you need a total of 30 fernflowers.

Depends on enchanter, most want you to send the elements instead of gold since prices aren't set so its hard to gauge how much gold you need to send to cover the cost of buying elements. |

Not gold but units of each type of elements needed for 5x12, and of course you have to buy them, elements are not cheap or have a stable price, you have to keep an eye on market for them. |

Very expensive and useless in most situations.
You use it for hunt records, survilurgs or clan PvP.
Most commonly you lease items when you need them, clan depo tend to have a good and cheap selection. |
