From the very moment when the court magician Abu-Bakir saw his own crystal dagger, imbued with the essence of primordial rage in the clutches of an insidious raven - he never ceased to speculate how and when this could happen. And in fact, the magician knew the answer, but because of that there were even more questions. Will this event happen soon now that he knows it needs to happen? Or is it just because it will happen? And if, knowing about the future, the magician tries to prevent it, or decides not to do anything at all, then what could be the consequences? All this simultaneously fascinated and frightened the consciousness of Abu-Bakir, and therefore he longed to find out the truth as soon as possible.

The search for a suitable target was not difficult, as was the preparation for the experiment. Abu-Bakir's faithful assistants did everything exactly as the magician instructed - and when only one single orc warrior remained alive on the battlefield, whom the imperials called crushers, the army of the court magician retreated leaving the master alone with his enemy. Glancing at the gargoyles circling above the battlefield, Abu-Bakir sighed heavily, and then arrogantly lifted his chin and bent his free arm at the elbow, summoning an electric charge to chaotically wander between his fingers. A cheap magic trick, but along with the mocking grin that loomed in the trail, it did its job - and the orc immediately, with a furious battle cry on his lips, rushed into the attack. A wide swing of a formidable club studded with obsidian blades, cut into nothing but the air, while Abu-Bakir in the blink of an eye found himself behind the warrior's back, with a cackle touching his back with electrified fingers. "A sorry sight..", the magician said with a sneer, at the same time returning to face the orc. "And that's all?" the magician's voice rang out again, and he himself took a step back. As soon as the enemy made another attack in his direction, he immediately found himself behind him again. "Such a creature has no place in the palaces of ancestors!", Abu-Bakir continued to barb, simultaneously snapping his fingers at the very ear of the once again misguided orc - producing tongues of magical flame. Starting in panic to tear off the burning pauldrons and helmet, the tribal warrior suddenly felt a sharp pain at the back of his knee from the blow of a staff - and after a moment his legs gave way, and he collapsed onto the blood-drenched ground. Before him stretched a picture of the battlefield, strewn with the dead bodies of his fallen tribesmen. "You are weak", Abu-Bakir's voice began to dissolve into the consciousness of the orc, that was still swimming in a fog of rage "Your weakness will devalue every one of their deaths!" realising that the words were beginning to elude the attention of his rival, the court magician began to speak louder, "You failed your tribe!" As soon as the echo of the last words of the magician subsided in the mind of the warrior, he, forgetting about the pain, jumped to his feet and began to furiously brandish his weapon, not seeing anyone or anything around him, only a raging flame before his eyes, outlining the image of Abu-Bakir. Finally, when the orc's attacks became as reckless as possible, his weapon suddenly met a metal barrier in its path. A moment of confusion - and a sharp pain in the chest from a dagger strike right in the heart. "Rest in peace glorious warrior", Abu-Bakir spoke calmly, looking into the clearing eyes of the defeated enemy, after which he pulled out the blade of his weapon with a swift movement, allowing the massive carcass of the orc to fall to the ground next to the mutilated iron remains of the last enemy he had slain.

Sighing again heavily and letting go of negative emotions, the court magician lowered his eyes to the dagger penetrated with the essence of primordial fury, and then looked around suspiciously. Nothing happened - his warriors were everywhere, and gargoyles patrolled the sky. Should he continue? Having asked this question, the sorcerer involuntarily reached for the bag, taking out of it a perfectly cut crystal of time prepared in advance. Abu-Bakir looked around again, but still nothing happened, and meanwhile his lips began to whisper magic words. Further actions required several moments of concentration, but at some moment the gaze of one of the gargoyles turned to its master. She immediately swooped down, simultaneously throwing off her massive obsidian shell, which for only a moment revealed the form of a raven, before dissolving into shadows. Sensing something was wrong, the magician interrupted the ritual, but did not even have time to look up, when the black bird snatched the cherished dagger from his hands and soared up. A moment of doubt, but the staff of Abu-Bakir, engulfed in lightning nevertheless aimed at the raven. It was immediately intercepted by another, with a dark blue plumage decorated with magical patterns. Several rolls of two rapidly disappearing, grappling birds and the black raven emerged victorious, instantly hiding in a column of smoke rising above the battlefield, sending the opponent wounded by the blade of a dagger down to the ground. An ironic grin appeared on the face of the court magician, but it was immediately replaced by the anticipation of an interesting discovery. The blue raven was wounded, but is still alive - and it exuded a strange power that excited the mind of Abu-Bakir. It seems that the magician will not have to do without a trophy today…

Lords and Ladies! The opening of the Portal of Time has come to an end - and it is time to sum up combat results. Abu-Bakir personally thanks everyone who responded to his call and helped keep the scientific expedition safe from harm. For the hardiness and bravery shown everyone who managed to collect at least 450 crystals of time will be awarded with a special unique artifact. Its durability depends on the number of crystals collected!

 
 


All Lords and Ladies who collected at least 430 crystals have been rewarded with parts of Heaven dagger from 1 to 15 pcs. The number of parts depends on the number of crystals collected.



All Lords and Ladies who have won at least one battle are entitled to a gold reward for their contribution! The exact amount depends on your number of wins and your combat level. Make sure to visit the Portal of Times page to collect your reward.



Also, the Empire celebrates the 75 best Military clans - the reward and loyalty of new followers is waiting for all the worthy members who brought the clan at least 400 points:
