While the entire Empire loudly celebrated the New Year in a fabulous winter atmosphere, and the frosty winds continued to bring echoes of unceasing battles from the snow-covered wastelands, the court magician Abu-Bakir had time to learn many interesting things while studying the mysterious guests from the cold expanses of the ice plane. A pile of new knowledge is perhaps the best New Year’s gift for a true magician. And it was particularly ironic that it was the cunning Grinch who partially presented it. Perhaps he ought to be thanked for it, so that he, too, might enjoy the holiday atmosphere he was so eager to destroy, but he’d had his fill and his insane obsession was unlikely to subside any time soon. He’ll do worse next time. Although the Empire's valiantie Lord and Ladies will surely be prepared for any new or old stunts he may pull to teach the villain a lesson in yet another unforgettable New Year’s adventure. And while the court mage pondered, all his spells began to dissipate, gradually blurring the shapes of the ice spires until eventually they disappeared altogether. In the midst of the vast expanse of snow, only a lonely, motionless snowman remained, smiling cheerfully with a willow twig from under his luxurious carrot nose. Perhaps, with such a reliable guardian, this frontier will now be completely safe until the end of the frosty seasons.

Lords and Ladies! The mission to save winter has been successfully completed! The New Year holidays did take place, and the balance of nature was restored again. And even though the insidious Grinch managed to escape, his accomplices were much less fortunate - and they learned a good lesson. Therefore, everyone who managed to defeat the winter thief of level 7 or higher is rewarded a special artifact, the durability of which depends on the maximum defeated difficulty level on the map:
