Not a day goes by without a cause for joy. The emotions of Valentine’s day had barely cooled down when the sail of an imperial ship returning from a distant overseas expedition appeared on the sea horizon. What adventures had its participants experienced? How many victories over how many marvelous enemies did they manage to win? How far from these lands now stretches the glory of their fearless leader who inspired this triumph? All this will long live on the lips of the inhabitants of the Empire. And what of the culprit behind all this long voyage? The moment the ship docked at the Harbor City, Rayzar vanished into the crowd, soon leaving Imperial soil. Heading deeper into the wastelands, almost to the edge of the Great Steppe, he stopped at a single branching tree, with a modest tomb lurking in its shadow. It was decorated only by a massive stone and two blades leaning against it. "Rose from the Scarlet Blades" read the inscription carved into the surface of the stone. Carefully taking a white rose from his bag, washed in the blood of slain traitors, which miraculously continued to bloom after all this time, the barbarian placed it over the blades. He then drew his sword, bowed his head slightly, and brought the crosshair of its hilt to his chest, pointing the blade upward. A sign of eternal respect for his fallen sister in arms. After spending some more time in the shade of the tree, indulging in old memories, he saw a raven sitting on a branch a short distance away. The raven took off immediately. It was time for him to go on his way. He said his last silent goodbye and headed off in a confident stride toward more battles.
