This is such a nice update! Provides a lot of the info many would need in such an eloquent way.
P.S Another light update has happened where you can now meteor the left side corners in a 2x2 area when you didn't use to before. Thanks to omni for bringing it to the attention of the admins :D |
| Good update, I was just looking for information on enchantments a few weeks ago to try to work out if I should save up to enchant magma set but couldn't find much |
I can say that I was completely ignorant of the entire enchanting business until I read a little bit there. Very good job by the team who organized information there as well as the translators. And scrolling up, the WG section looks nicely updated with pictures as well.
One thing that caught my notice was the line about hunter's guild FSP and EXP gain relative to those gained from PvP. It's the line directly under hunt skipping button with 0.1 diamond (steed symbol). Don't think that line was necessary. I know min and max EXP in HG is capped on both ends for each combat level, but overall the exp system is a lot more nuanced than that so it felt like a misleading statement. |

Have a few questions, on things that feel wrong.
For instance, if the total damage on the stack without enchantment is 100 points, then with an enchantment providing 10% of additional Fire damage it will be 110 points, but if the creature being attacked is Golem, the damage will be 100 + 100*10%*(1-0,5*0,1) = 109.5 points, because Golem has a magic shield 50%
Shouldn't that be 105 points instead? And if Golem had 100% fire resistance, you'd do exactly 100 damage, not 109 damage.
Also, these two sentences feel conflicting.
magic shield enchantments are useful against magic damage, but not against spells;
Armor enchantments can affect both the reduction of the enemy’s attack when calculating the physical damage and the reduction of damage from magic spells, and magic damage caused by the physical strike.
If I have 50% air resistance from 3 armors, wouldn't that imply I'm being dealt 50% less damage by the lightning spell, unless enemy has pierce resistance there? So why the statement "Magic shield enchancements are not useful against spells". |
Is the "About the game" same for LWM and HWM? If it's not, can others contribute to expand it? I wouldn't mind helping. I grew up reading it over and over for many years ...
I see that many guild guides have been expanded upon based on recent updates. CG is missing any mention of EOFO in that. |

About the game section should be 100% the same as the RU counterpart. Info stated there is vetted by the admin before being updated.
Things like this get updated way sooner on RU and therefor we have to thank translator team for making it available on .com and ofcourse Lexa for posting it.
