I am an F2P player. I've accumulated money in the following ways:
1. Enrol, Enrol, Enrol. This is the bread and butter. You can't avoid that.
2. HG + MG (especially those with +5 bonus) - Suggested by Ulmo.
3. Sell elements - Suggested by Ridrich.
4. Play with Min. AP. Mostly PVE.
5. Event: most are profitable if you win, even in lesser difficulty. The reward at the end can be sold for further profit. Most importantly, using Min. AP needed per event rules, and it is always better to win on lesser difficulty than lose once and win once over difficulty levels.
6. See items (event artefacts, hunter artefacts, elements and more) by selling a little cheaper on the market. You will have a small and steady profit.
7. Most importantly, stay away from the roulette. I will echo King Luigi's advice once more. Stay away from the roulette.

Don't do campaign battles until you are in better financial position.
Once you have sufficient leaders guild creatures this can be another easy to steadily earn some gold.
However all aspects of this game support steady grind with the only quick ways involving parting with real money to get in game money.
If you want enough gold, get used to accessing this game on a phone every hour and eventually(like after a few years!) you will need like us old timers that have enough for everything except luxury stuff that you don't really need. |

Gotta disagree on that one. I regularly make profit on leaders guild battles. This is only possible because I have built up troops enough to have done decent ones. If I never resurrected I would not have got to this point. In relevant events this also means I have more troop selection to increase the profitably of them. |
| You can always get more leg troops I agree with the first guy I don’t auto revive either. Dude needs gold now more than he needs good leg which is long term since building castles are important |

| The thing is for making gold you want epics or above, as these are not only better and so more likely to win without losing so many troops, but also they have a lower resurrection cost than lower tiered troops. I'm pretty sure(though a while ago now) that it was not long before I could break even on resurrection cost with the lower difficulty levels. Once higher up, it is regular profit per battle, especially as the rewards also increases with leg level |

No resurrection of common troops. It was only possible to manually resurrect common troops during last LG event. |
The resurrection costs are ridiculous not to revive and sabotage your progress on leg troops, if you ever want to have a decent army for leg.
Faster ways are donation or/and constant enroll. |
| The intent isn't a decent army for leg, but gold income. One can play leg battles only for gold. For example, I focus only on dangerous targets and disregard other challenges. Dangerous targets for my lvl 2 bring 1800 gold. Today, I earned more than 1700 gold with two quick battles. |
You are a cl 14 with a good collection of leg troops answering to a cl 5 with only grey troops that are not even enough to battle anymore.
Your answer should be more around their status and not yours. |
