You are right! But the pourpose of translation is to help the littl percentage (10%? 20%?) that are cheating because the are not able to read the rule's book. Are you insane? I can understand why they don't find time to manage the cheater problem, this doesn't mean I am satisfied!

I can understand that some players of a few clan's doesn't like us to talk about clans hosting hundreds of cheaters, but it's just crazy to call a topic like this flood. This is not flood. Indeed you are correct. There will always be those to tell us not to worry about cheaters but it is our business if it concerns us and it is true that it concerns the whole game in many ways. It is amusing that some are more troubled by players like us who hate cheating rather than the cheating itself!
If this thread does nothing but show that there are some who care about the rules, then it serves a purpose. I would love for you to have keeper ability in some way. we are talking about:
- players with 10-12 multis (the rule says you can only have 2)
- players using their multis to give money to the main char (strictly forbidden, even as a loan)
- players using multis weapons for enchanting and smithing from the main char (also strictly forbidden)
- players doing staged combats with their multis (guess that? forbidden!)
- and the list can go on with similar illegal things in tavern, with equipment loans, rent, etc. etc. | sorry for double post but maybe myprevious one is not clear/conclusive...
given that there are probably 20% accounts of cheaters (looking at all the complaints I am afraid we are talking about 50%), what Vonemar says is that some other people, not chetaing apparently themselves, are using the money of those cheaters to, for example, increase some of their skills as enchanters/smiths.
I always presume innocence, so, unless I have other evidence, I believe those guys are only rampaging people wishing to get high skils as soon as possible, Vonemar thinks differently. In any case, because of the high number of people cheating, the overall economy/skills balance is now unbalanced,especially for those playing correctly ... I hope things are clearer now.
On top, just a personal consideration: "what a sad world we are living in, if people always want to get ... no matter how ... cheating, menacing, bullying, etc. ... I may be too moralist .. but this is a game ... what would they do to win in the real world? ..." | for OndaNera:
Rule breakers.Cheating is other thing.
So, there are many rule breakers, and what?What is the point of the discussion?There is nothing else, exept CaA.People in Empire Court are people too - with their lives and personal problems, not just robotes.But thare are only people, who deserved to be there.And what you propose?Pay them with real money?Invite players there?Int is not the way out.
P.S.As for me the best way is on the programm level.1 character for 1 e-mail with letter, sending to it to check.You just cant't have 12-16 e-mails - people are too lazy faor that:) | Open discussion is one thing. Mud-slinging is another. Don't sink to that level. This is is a good thread and I also feel more people should be more aware and willing to help out the anti-cheating movement.

Having 10 emails can be done 20 minutes. Its easier than earning 1000 gold.

This is not CaA because we are not complaining about specific players, but about the overall cheating/rule breaking system that some players (I still hope the amount is low) have put in place. Since this is a general issue that has already spoilt part of the game, and could ruin the game even more in the future when war clans will be introduced and good enchanters, good smiths, lots of money for artifacts will be NECESSARY, not just important, I definetely see the reason to talk about it in GGF. At least for aknowledgment.
Giving money to Court? Yes, I think it would make sense if it will be sort of a full time work ... and once the game is "clean", maybe more people will pay for diamonds, and maybe more people will enroll, and maybe ... who knows? Btw, lots of other games have admins and Court and mods paid with real money, so what?
I admit that I am very lazy and that on another game I used 9 diffeent e-mails to cheat the system ... but after 1 day I repent and deleted all additional accounts ... so, you see, it's not at all difficult, and once all chars are registered, you don't need to remember all the e-mails... | for Omega22:

Yes, it is bad, yes we hawe to be against illegal mults, but this topic won't help to cach them.
I'm shure admins have only losses from this server - it is much more primitive, and makes small online.
But not all the games have our admins:)
