In this topic, members of the faction are asked to discuss everything, that concerns THIS faction: skills, stats, tactics etc.

But, to delve a bit more deeply into the faction.
I'll use a lvl 7-8 point of view.
Spawns: Very useful. Extremely useful. Horrifyingly useful.
Not only are they reasonably fast, have high initiative, and good damage for lvl 1 troops, they also steal mana...TWICE.
First the main stack steals mana, which is usually about 5-10. Then they gate a 2nd mob in, who (in theory) steals mana AGAIN. This is a near death sentence for magic users, who suddenly have very little to no mana left, while the demon can cast his magic even moreso. Scary scary troop.
Demons: Not so useful. Slow, low damage. A big tank, but not that wonderful in it compared to others. You get lots of them though!
Incendiary... Oh where the demon is so horrible, the incendiary strikes back. Still slow, still not a great tank, but with a bit more damage, and the aweinspiring enflame. A good enflame can literally turn the tide of battle. A good strategical demon will love his incendiaries. A decent troop.
Wolfhounds: Beh. They're fast. They're mediocre. They're high initiative. But still mediocre. Wolfhounds aren't too bad, but not the best of troops in the Demons arsenal. They do pack a nice wallet, but they're too fragile and compared to other troops seem somewhat low. However, with gating combined a pack of wolfhounds can be daunting. I'd give this a slightly below average rating.
Cerberi: Take everything about wolfhounds back and flipflop it around. Cerberi are awesome. Good damage, good initiative, GREAT speed, spray and no retaliation. Cerberi are almost as scary as shrews. Maybe a little scarier.
Scary...scary...scary troop.
Succubi: They shoot, they retaliate shooters, they're sexy. Succubi are a good shooter, albeit slightly slow. Good unit. I'd give this one an average rating.
Hellhorses: Aychihuahua. Mio dios. Hell horses are fast, hit reasonably hard, and make any non-undead run away in terror. I'd dare say these guys rank top dollar among the tier 5 units. Maybe liches are similar... Maybe. Gating another stack of hellhorses in makes them even more terrifying.
I'd rate hellhorses as the best tier5 unit myself.
Tier6: No idea. Sorry. Cave demons are too "obscure" for me to give a decent opinion.
Now, as a whole, demons are a GOOD faction, but early on they're not so wonderful. Their tier2 and tier3 units are kinda sucky, and it isn't until lvl 5-6 that demons get enough faction level, troops and better tier troops to really start packing that auchie wallet.
If I were to suggest any fixes, I'd make spawns suck a little less mana, and in return make demons +1 initiative, and give wolfhounds +2 hp +1 attack, at the cost of -1 speed. Cerberi would get the same treatment. This should make early gaming a bit more attractive for demons, because spawns and imps and spells only become accessible at around lvl 5...
But that's all just guesstimates. | I can say one thing: demons are great - they can be strong warriors.. or powerfull mages
But they are difficult to play - if player whants to playdemond and win, he mast be very clever | I was ever defeated by demons only once at a duel combat. But as a whole i have to say that this is a very strong faction. Even at HOMM 5 .. they are stronger than Knights ... especially DEVILS (tier 7) ... i do not know which are stronger, DEVILS or ANGELS ...
I am truly afraid of GATING ... and DRAIN MANA ... both are very strong ...

theiy r many, and have 15hp each (compared to spawns that they only have 6 hp)
succubi, this is the mediocore and 'tanker'
in group battle, all magic going to succubi after elven bowmen dead
i dont think they're bad,
but their dmg kinda low compared to elvenbowmn,xbowmen and skeletalbowmen due to their recruit count | Before i post my comments i will like to say that demons are on of the strongest pvp faction, and the strongest at lvl 3-4. My prove that i have:
Victories: 418
Defeats: 30
and never lost in pvp at lvl3-4.
The trick is to split imps at stack of 3 so they can gate and steal enemies mana. While Wolfhounds with there high init do most of the dmg.
I dont use demons at lvls6 cause they r weak in pvp, demons are useful for hunts when u need more hp.
As for Succubi, they do a lot of dmg. The most important thing is to choose wisely when to gate them. For example when u r fighting against knights succubi plays 1st,its important at round 1 to hit bowmens before gating . When u fight barb orcs play 1st so in round 1 is more important to gate. | demon 6 still good in pvp
maybe this is their 'time', after u got battlefury
battlefury increased ur dmg nearly 40% due to demon massive unit
they do a lot of dmg in low range, not in long range
6-13dmg*7=42-91dmg, but cut by 50% in long range
so they only deal about 21-45 dmg (only kill 4 elven bowmen myb) | Demons are the nightmare of the 9th lvl ) | demons are awsome to be yet there are not many demons for some reason | Imps can steal mana .. but how if the hero doesnot have any mana ?? but have great defence ? the demons as i know at level 6 even almost cannot defeat knights ...
But i have to say once again .. that DEMONS are very respectful opponents for me .... the most respectful opps are elves ...

that swordmen would never reach spawn+wolf
spawn+wolf have better init and speed
and dont forget, demon 6 play with magic (so, swordman's defense is nothing)
and more, i usually see lv6 knight have 1 knowledge to cast bless | I learned to play around with debuff spells when I switched to demon. It's an interesting faction to play with. | 11:

at level 8 i've been having to switch my stack numbers around depending on what i'm fighting against. up until now i didn't really have to change what size my stacks were. i agree that it all comes down to playing well. i've lost several battles because of one tiny error (a misclick, bad server connection making you miss a cruicial move). | im 6 lvl demon , what is better ? Basic offense and Cold blade or battle fury on 6 lvl , i think cold blade is better for hounds and succubis and battle fury is better on 7 lvl as you will have more spawns or incenidiares | we need a demon at lvl 9 to see how powerful they can become | for psychopath:
demons weak in pvp all the time..only in thieves guild demons best | 15: battle fury. will help spawns tremendously. cold blade 15%, while battle gury gives spawns 33%-50%. as for wolf, battle fury gives 20%-33%, still above cold blade. succubi are the only better with cold blade. you should use battle fury. | Demons are not completely weak in PvP.
