Repairing is not something economically ok. If you think something is worth repairing, you just repair it, regardless of the cost. If you think the enchantments are necessary for the ambushes, then by all means repair them. If they are not necessary, keep them and buy a fresh art for ambushes. In my opinion, only wind protection armor enchantments and weapon damage enchantments are useful.

Anyways, thieving to TG2 by way of renting is a gold-consuming activity already. Selling worn-out arts and repurchasing them from the shop/map is always cheaper than repairing, unless some kind-hearted smith comes along with an incredible deal.

Am not sure if it's just me but has anybody noticed that caravan heroes have been upgraded after the server down yesterday?

For example, before that DE hero only had 90 mana, now he has 140; his spell power has also jumped to a whopping 23
that is a special type of DE caravan with 4 large stacks, you are lucky to meet.

47: its completely different kind of caravans
i saw some new types of caravans in recent days.

but my first impression is lol, really ridiculous.

for example, old caravan with 13 devils usually have 4 stacks of succubi/mistress and 1-2 in each stack which is already hard to beat, but look at the new caravan:

similar in caravan of DE, using 2x20+ dydra to replace 2x20+ liz.
if you buy the TGI thru diamonds, will you get awarded a TGI after reaching TG2?

49 - I totally agree - at least half of my caravans are impossible to beat + there is a funny pattern when they are being "reduced" - let's say in the first battle there is a stack of 20 cavaliers and 10 stacks of 20 monks, the "reduced" version will be of 40 cavaliers and 10 stacks of 7 or so months, making the battle even more difficult for factions that use spray attack - elf(efk, sprites), dark elf(hydra), demon(cerberi). Not to mention the new elf caravans - 10 stacks or so of 10-20 druids. Even with wind protection you'll still be destroyed no matter what by their lightning. Wizard caravans with stacks of 500 gargs and a more than able mage are also impossible.

I've started being a thief at level 9 - passing to level 10 the business stayed more or less the same - full arts and you'll have a decent fight and a nice winning percentage. At level 11 all hell broke lose (maybe because I have over 500 tgi points)- the number of impossible battles grew too much and really it's no fun fighting a war already lost from the start.
Was it a mistake to wait until lvl 8 before starting thiefing?

I expected the fights to be easy until lvl 1 and get away with minimal arts but so far i lost half my battles and i am under pressure because of rent.

Some of the battles i lost could have been won with better tactics or arts but against 9 devils + 4 more gated ones there is no way to win even with max arts (i think at least)
At the moment I am glad if I meet a human player as these are the ones i am winning.
Will it carry on like this?

Any suggestions?
OK - i take that back that you can't win against 9 Devils - i just watched a battle from Kiz at the same lvl against 11 Devils and he won easily...Also with seemingly full arts.

If full arts is required then this will be hard to afford - lets see.
I thought I post again now that I managed lvl 2.
It took me 10 days and ones I switched to full arts I won 95% of my battles.

So I guess - only try this with full arts.
I also didn't notice caravans to become much harder later on - the whole things was almost too easy...
I would think that all players should start thieving at level 6, the earlier the better. Not only the caravans are easier, you are also able to obtain caravans at a faster rate.

You can also try to do it with min arts. Eventually you will make caravans so soft by losing, you can win with min arts. Although, this is doable at level 6 to 9, I don't think this is possible at higher levels. There is a minimum size, where caravans would not reduce below that. You can also get nice FSP this way. =)
which is easier? caravan or normal players?
what is pvp and pvpv?
I read this in an other thread:
Caravans are triggered when a player of your level walks past your ambush route.

But obviously it is not exact because the only lvl 14 is able to make ambush.
So what is the truth?

Something like:
Caravans are triggered when a player of your level (+1 or -1) walks past your ambush route.
