You make your men better by wearing arts...the more arts you wear, the stronger they will be. You also make them better, by leveling up your faction, and character levels.

if u mean the dark elf that olayed with u last game, then its mainly u made some mistakes. He killed all ur gobs with rogues because u went in his range, he got first hit on ur wolves because u charged too far.
It's almost impossible to beat DEs at level 1 but its possible when ur opponent makes mistakes. |
