| guys I m going to finish it soon.Next chapter coming up. | "They put flowers in paints? Now that's something new." laughed Yuki as they passed some elegant flower arrangements
The party explored the rooms together, but there was nothing much at all except for some old chairs and table until they arrived to a room labelled "Do Not Enter."
"Guess this room contains some valuables.So, it's forbidden to enter it, huh? Let's check the room out." smirked Cross.
As soon as Cross opened the door to the room, a corpse of a soldier fell out. The soldier's eyes rolled out of their sockets and yellow and blue paints began to flow out of them.
Yuki screamed in shock as bats flew out of the room.
"Watch out, those are not normal bats.Those look like vampiric bats." shouted Demu.
The flock of bats swarmed fiercely about Cross and his friends.
"Stand back!" commanded Demu.
Demu shouted out words of power and cast a spell, producing a brilliant ray of light and blinding the bats causing them all to begin to flee from the mansion.
They walked into the room, which turned out to be a library. Cross noticed a book that was left on the floor and picked it up.
The book's title read "Liza's diary."
"Hmm, this one looks interesting. It's the only book on the floor, yet it has no dust on it. I guess the soldier was just reading it. Let's see what's in it?" declared Cross.
Before Cross opened the book, Demu stopped him.
"Wait, let us draw our weapons out first before opening the book. I believe that based on what happened to the soldier, a spirit was freed from this book." said Demu.
They all drew their weapons and Cross opened the book. The book was full of pictures that depicted the life of the a girl called Liza. The book was very thick and the pictures were very beautiful and were showing clearly what happened each day in her life.
But on the last page of the book, the girl, Liza, was depicted to be hung in the room.
"Wait, if this girl is the one that drew this whole diary and she committed suicide. Who was the one that drew the last page then?" asked Yuki in puzzlement.
"Did she resurrect? Wait,in the diary there is a young man with her. Maybe he knows black magic and he does seem to be her fiancée based on the dairy. In addition, several pages are missing from the diary, maybe..." said Cross.
Suddenly, the floor began to turn to sand and it started to cave in.
"What the...?! Oh no! My legs are stuck! "shouted Cross. | Location: Under Ground Basement
Time: 1:00AM.
Cross was lying on the ground.The surrounding area was filled with darkness. Nothing could be seen.
"Arghh,what happened? Demu? Yuki? Are any of you there?" asked Cross nervously to the darkness.
Suddenly, a small green fire appeared in front of him. The whole room slowly lit up, albeit in a green light. The surroundings looked to Cross to be the same library as before, except Demu and Yuki were nowhere to be seen.
Suddenly, the main door opened. A young woman, the same as the one in the picture, walked in, followed by an old man, looking like they were a rich man and his daughter. The pair didn't take any notice of Cross.
"Errm,hello? Can I know where are my friends?" asked Cross desperately to the man and young lady.
But the father and the daughter pair did not respond.They instead took a seat at the library's study table.
"Father, I am in love with David Denpen. I want to marry him and I don't see why I cannot be with him." demanded the young girl.
"Sabrina, listen to what I am saying. David is a poor man. He is just after our money!" shouted the father back at Sabrina.
"No,father! David is a good man. You can't judge a book by it's cover! That's just unfair!" cried Sabrina.
"Enough! I only what I do for your own happiness. I'm going to invite the young Duke of Ammidan to dinner and we will talk about your marriage to him."declared the father.
"NO!" replied Sabrina in a screech.
The father stood up and walked out of the room, ignoring his daughter's protest.Sabrina just broke down in tears as her father left and began to mumble to herself.
"For my own happiness?! I have never been happy before ever since I was born."
A few minutes passed and she stopped weeping. She told herself resolutely "David,if you can't have me. Neither can the Duke!"
She took a rope from the shelves of the room and started to tie it into a noose. Cross just stood there staring at her,wondering what she was going to do next.
She stood up on the chair she was sitting on and swung the rope over the rafters, clearly preparing to commit suicide. Cross, just now realising what she is about to do, immediately rushed to try and stop her.
"Wait, don't do it." yelled Cross.
Sabrina took no notice at all of Cross and his yelling. Cross ran up and attempted to push her off the chair before her put her head into the noose but he just passed right through her.
"What the?" he said as he tumbled to the ground and the girl hung herself.
As the dying throes of the girl died away, the whole room dimmed back to darkness once more and an old man in a sorcerer's robe appeared.
"A bit tragic isn't it? She was just too young and too pretty to die" said the sorcerer.
"Who are you and what happened just now?" asked Cross.
"I'm David.The one mentioned in the illusionary vision.The cause of the girl's death" explained David.
"Illusion? No wonder I could pass right through the girl just now. But why did you make me see this?" asked Cross.
"Even through she is dead, her vengeful spirit still lingers. She died with anger and sadness. Many of the people who have come to this house has died because of her. She must be stopped." declared David. | "Oh it's you..The guard with the paints....Wait..Oh my god! What about my friends?" asked Cross.
"Your friends have been taken away by Sabrina. I could only manage to save you. My duty here is to save as many people as possible from her." replied David.
"That means my friends are dead?!" shouted Cross.
David said nothing but nodded his head slightly.
"No, there must be a way out of this" mumbled Cross angrily.
"The only way is for her spirit to rest in peace. Her last wish was to be happy, just once." said David.
"Wait, how you know so much? You are just a poor man. Where does your illusory ability come from?" asked Cross.
"After her death, her father, her only family member, was sent to the Duke for execution. He died because he was unable to fulfill his promise on the marriage. After all that had happened, I went to his house and decided to live there. It was then that I found out that Sabrina's father had known a little magic. I took her father's sorcery books and began to study them out of curiosity and interest. One of the books taught me how to prevent spirits from harming me" explained David.
"I'm going to save my friends. Are you coming with me?" asked Cross.
"Don't be a fool, it'll be suicide."
"I don't care. I just want to be able to save my friends."
Cross walked straight into the darkness trying to get to his friends, but the darkness seemed to be endless.
"How do I get out of here?!" he demanded
David just sighed and said "Fine, I'm coming with you..." and made a portal in the darkness that led back to the library.
A chilling wind began to blow as Cross looked into the portal. A figure begun to form in the mists of the portal.
"Save me, Cross! Save me! "screamed the figure. It was Yuki and she was being pulled away by a black hole behind her.
"Yuki!" Cross shouted and tried to grab her. But as he reached out to her, the hole and Yuki faded away.
"Sabrina was once an illusionist. She is creating an image of what happened while you were unconscious to confuse and discourage you. Come, let us head to the garden. There might be some clues there that can lead us to where Sabrina has hidden your friends."said David. | | wait isnt Stormrage from Warcraft,you know Malfurion Stormrage. | | Ya some of the idea is from Warcraft.I need names..But I m not a really good name maker..So let's just make it a partially continue from Warcraft 3...After Arthas claim the throne and another 10000 years had pass.This is my edition wa ha ha ha. | "Oh, David, you are utterly hopeless." cursed Cross.
Cross began to cast a fireball spell and targeted the tentacle holding him. As the fireball hit, the tentacle started to burn and turned into ashes. Cross brushed himself off as he landed on the ground.
"You should have tell me that certain illusions can come into life. That way I could have prepared myself." complained Cross.
David stared at Cross, dumbstruck. Suddenly, several tentacles started to appear.
"Here comes the second wave." David said as he pointed forward
Cross drew his sword and slashed two of the tentacles. But the tentacles disappeared after his sword sliced through them. Then the number of tentacles seemed to increase the more he attacked them.
"Sabrina is putting some more mana into the beast. These are green tentacles from that plant...I remember now…. it's a small man eating plant that Sabrina's father bought. It's rather small and not yet grown to its full height so Sabrina is able to draw pictures of it. And it seems to be drawing power from Sabrina's mana to grow!"
The gigantic man eating plant soon revealed itself as the source of the tentacles just as David named it. As time passed, despite Cross’ efforts, the number of green tentacles increased steadily.
"This trick has to be draining a lot of mana from her. Let me try to stop the mana drain."
Cross invoked his magic and enchanted his blade with fire. Then he used his newly enchanted sword to slice a tentacle. The tentacles begin to struggle and shiver as the fire started to spread amongst all of them. As the tentacles burned, Cross began to attack them with several fireballs.
After the smoke diaapated, a painting lay on the ground where the image of the plant was. The painting was one of a man eating plant.
"So, she can change paintings into reality. Hmm, that would mean she can easily create a devil or an angel this way." commented Cross.
"Trust me, the strength of the creature depends on her mana. Just like there is a limit of fire ball you can shoot out, she has a limit to the strength of the creature created" explained David."Even if she can create an angel using her power, it will never be at its full power unless she herself is as strong as one to power it using her mana." | Just then,another illusion appeared before them. Sabrina had begun to paint a picture of a man-eating plant. But there was a lot of difference in this one from other pictures she had done.
"I've completed one of my masterpieces." declared Sabrina.
Sabrina then lightly touched the painting with her hand and the plant flowed out of the painting and begun to hav life of its own. But the plant did not move at all. Sabrina just sat there staring at it.
"Sabrina, come into the house now." shouted Sabrina's father.
As Sabrina began to walk to the house, the plant she drew followed her as well.
"Hmm, this new pet seem to follow everything I do and ask. I will name it Sunny." declared Sabrina.
Sabrina's father saw everything that happened. He knew that Sabrina was a young kid with special powers, but never did he suspect that she was on the level of the highest of the illusionists of the land as she was still young.
They followed Sabrina go up to the room.The plant followed them obediently.
When they reached the highest floor, a cute dog ran up to Sabrina. Sabrina picked the cute dog up and then turned to Cross and David.
"Something tells me this isn't good." said Cross worriedly.
Cross' suspicions were right indeed, for the dog begun to foam at the mouth as if it had rabies and pounced on David. Cross intercepted the dog's leap and threw that dog against the wall.
The dog stood up, growled and begun to mutate before their very eyes. It turned into one of the most fearsome creatures ever known, the gatekeeper of Hell, a Cerebus.
The Cerebus let out a dreadful roar, deafening Cross and David and struck Cross with it's mighty Claw against the wall while they were stunned.
"Oohh..Man,that really hurt."complained Cross,"Now it's my turn!"
Cross charged his sword with some of his mana, then pointed the sword at the Cerebus blasting it.
But the Cerebus's reflexes were as fast like lighting. And with a speed akin to a wolf, it easily dodged the blast.
"Look like this cerebus has the great speed of a Cerebus. But its strength and magical power should be quite low, since Sabrina most likely only focused on the speed aspect of the creature..Guess you need to use an attack that is hard to miss." explained David.
"I do have a few powerful moves, but it'll damage everyone here, including you,David. And due to its nature to cover an area , it's quite mana consuming. We don't know what or how many "Masterpieces" are left after this. We can't risk me using my most powerful blasts" Cross shouted back
"Then I will defeat this scrap of a dog. He may have lighting speed but I bet he has no lighting elemental protection. So how about this?" David gambled
David cast forth a lighting bolt, targeting the Cerebus. It hit Cerebus squarely but only damaged it slightly.
The Cerebus jumped up and attempt to pounce on David but Cross manage to intercept the attack again and counterattacked by slashing its stomach.
David quickly took the chance to cast another lighting bolt at the Cerebus.
"Now with his stomach cut open, he can't move at the speed of lightning anymore as he will be begin to lose blood through the wound and die faster."said David.
"Great,then let's finish it once and for all. Magic Drill!!!" Cross screamed out the spell incantations.
Cross's mana focused through his sword and the magical energy began to spin around his whole hand. Then, Cross jumped up into midair and dived down at the Cerebus.
Suddenly,a magic barrier formed itself between the Cerebus and Cross. It dispelled the Magic Drill spell and repelled Cross backwards with great force. | "What the..?" Cross shouted
Cross stuck his sword into the ground to stop him from flying off. The small girl flew up to the Cerebus and healed the Cerebus's injury.
"That's the real Sabrina!!" exclaimed David. but as he said that,Sabrina attempted to make an escape and fly towards her bedroom.
"Follow her! I will handle the Cerebus.We cannot allow her to escape!" shouted David.
With any hestiation,Cross ran towards the bedroom. The Cerebus tried to block the entrance tot he bedroom with its gigantic body.
As the Cerebus was about to claw Cross with it's massive paw, David zapped it again with a large amount of lightning energy.The Cerebus was stunned by the blow, and could not move. But it was not going to be a long-term solution for it was rapidly draining David's mana.
"Quickly..I can't hold this up for a long time...Arghh" struggled David.
Cross quickly squeezed pass the Cerebus and entered the room. The Cerebus was badly injured by now from the lightning and it begun to lose its balance.
David started panting and tried his best to catch his breath and to recover some of his energy before continuing the fight. But the break didn't last long.
David quickly summoned an Alpha Soldier to protect him, not risking another lightning blast
Creature Data:
Name: Alpha Soldier
Description: A tall soldier who wears a heavy golden armor. Alpha soldier is an expert fighter whose unit was disbanded several thousands years ago, all survivors of the unit left the Material plane to stay on the Astral plane, waiting to be summoned to assist magic-users who summon them. As they were physical when they entered the astral plane, they are thus physically summoned and it's consumes stamina instead of mana when they are summoned.
The Alpha Soldier charged forth and tried to slam the Cerebus. But the Cerebus still had its strength despite its injuries.It struck the Alpha Soldier before it could even reach the Cerebus.
Though the Alpha Soldier was thrown by the attack into a wall. the damage was fully absorbed by its armour.
David recovered some more mana and was now ready for a second strike.He commanded the Alpha Warrior to charge again.
And just like the previous attack. the Alpha Warrior was knocked away by a swipe of the Cererbus' paw and slammed into the wall again. But this time while the claws of the Cerebus were lifted in attack, it exposed its body to David's Ice Pole spell.
It pierced straight into Cerebus' heart and also impaled it into the wall behind the Cerebus. The amazing beast was then dissolved into ashes... Leaving yet another painting nailed on the wall.
"Hmm,I better catch up with Cross now" David thought.
Meanwhile during David's fight...
Cross walked into the bedroom. Suddenly, the door which he came in from disappeared as he turned around to look.Then the whole room suddenly became extremely hot.The walls turned into magma and hundreds of hands were formed out from the wall. All the furniture was melted by the heat and the same went for the floor.But Cross quickly started to float in mid air in order to escape being burnt.
"Oh ho ho, look where I have gotten myself into...Hell"
Suddenly,one of the hands on the wall transformed into a sharp spear and struck out at Cross.
Cross managed to dodge it easily.But several other hands begin to transform as well. Cross was successful in dodging them but they were slowly occupying up all the space in the room. | Then a thought came to Cross' mind.
He summoned forth the twin to his dual sword and fix the 2 pieces into the form of a boomerang.
He tossed it firmly forward and it cut a path out of the living hell of hands. As he did so, the environment around Cross changed into the image of a plain large square room.
It was Sabrina's bedroom. Except that all that furniture and the doors and windows had all been removed.
"Hmm, it's been a long time since I last had a human who managed to fight his way through to this far.You are very skilled. I must say."said an unknown voice behind Cross.
Cross turned swiftly towards his back but found nothing.Then a sinister laugh echoed through the room. Cross look all around himself desperately, ready to engage all kinds of incoming attack.
But there was nothing, no attacks from anywhere. Sabrina suddenly appeared in her child form before Cross, but her eyes were glowing red and long fangs grew out from her mouth. She just smiled as she looked Cross in the eyes and slowly grew into her adult form.
She was dressed completely in white clothing. The dress was so long that it completely covered her legs and made it look like she had none, Cross also noted that her skin was grayish in tone.
"Hmph, your friends really stood no chance against you and David." commented Sabrina.
"What do you mean?" demanded Cross in anger.
"The man-eating plant.. it's mana was drawn completely from Yuki and the Cerebus drained mana from Demu.The reason that you managed to defeat the man eating plant so easily was because Yuki was extremely low in personal mana but high in her agility and strength.She is really a great assassin but I can only use her mana, not her personal skills."
"What? You used them as mana sources so you can save up your own power for later to fight against me? Now you are playing with fire, girl. Give back my friends and I will forgive you." warned Cross.
"Wahahahaha, you must be kidding me. I notice you are quite strong going up against the illusions of your friends. But I also saw that you match your match against the Cerebus. You can't win without David, can you?"
"Hmph,you underestimate me.. let me show you what I'm really made of." Cross shouted
Sabrina transformed herself into a Tentacgon.
Creature Data
Name: Tentacgon
Description:A combination of the legendary Sea Devils (a giant squid) and a sea dragon.This special creature is extremely rare. As it has dragon's blood, it has an elemental breath-weapon and was amphibian. Other than using its strong limbs to swim and attack, it also has 8 tentacles that sprout out from its chest, it has a beak that contains sharp fangs.A tantacgon can shoot inks in place of a breath-weapon if it likes.
Cross resummoned his dual sword into his hands and prepared to strike.
So the battle began. Sabrina attempted to whip Cross with her tentacles, so Cross tried to block all of them with his sword. But he not could successfully block all the tentacles, only those that attacked from his sides. Sabrina's claw thrust toward the Cross' chest and smashed Cross against the wall with a mighty hand.She withdraw her hand and ready to strike again.But Cross had disappeared in the dusty and unclear mist kicked up by the fight.
Then she noticed that Cross was far from her. He had teleported across the room but it was also obvious that Cross had taken some serious injury. | | nice continue i love it | "Arghh, I'm gonna have to use some magic for this.." said Cross.
Cross enchanted his swords with Magic Drill and charged at Sabrina. As he ran forward, he jumped up into the air and launched himself at the great beast's chest.
While he is at mid-air, One of the beast's tentacles suddenly reached uip and grabbed his leg and slammed Cross into the wall. Once again, Cross' body was wreaked with pain from another grave injury.
"This beast...It has the upper-hand in terms of strength and accuracy. Hmm ... I guess ranged attacks is the only choice now." Cross muttered to himself as he wiped blood from his mouth.
Cross leapt out of the crater in the wall he was in and and conjured up the spell "Mana Blaster", and pointed one of his swords at Sabrina.
Sabrina immediately countered with her draconic spell: Elemental Breath.
The two spells were equally powerful but Cross knew he could not sustain his spell for long as Sabrina's mana was definitely more than Cross'.
But Cross came up with a solution, he imbued another Mana Blaster into his other sword and combine the spells in his two swords to unleash a Mana Blaster that was two times stronger than a normal Mana Blaster.
And his idea proved a success; Sabrina was hit hard by the empowered spell. Sabrina attempted to stop the blast from slamming her away by trying to embed her feet into the ground, but the blast was too strong for her to withstand and her digging in only caused her to damage her own feet. The empowered blast slammed Sabrina into the wall behind her despite her best efforts..
Her feet were badly hurt. Her soles were torn and bleeding. Her feet hurt with every single step she made, and to make it worse, she was also staggered and stunned by the impact of the blast.
"Mana Blaster's side effect is the decreasing of the victim's mana. So now, your mana is also running low, like mine is." declared Cross.
Without waiting for a reply, he quickly charged forth and sliced 2 of tentacles with his sword. And Cross launched another direct and quick strike on the head of the creature.
The damage sustained was too much for her, and thus, Sabrina was forced to transform back into her ghost form.
Suddenly, the wall cracked behind Sabrina and a large burst of fire was hit Sabrina.
"Don't slack off too much,Cross. We are almost finished here." shouted a voice from the fog of dust.
"You arrived late to the 'party' and you have the nerve to complain about it, David? And now you want to steal my kill."complained Cross.
"Let's just finish her off." laughed David. " I'm finally free of her curse."
"Huh? Wait,I didn't know there was a curse placed on you."
"It's the reason why I'm still guarding this house after so long.Sabrina trapped me here as her lover and locked me in this house."
"How long has it been?" Asked Cross
"Around 700 years, I guess. Since I became cursed, so many, many people died." David sighed
"You mean you are dead? Dead for a long time now??!!" Cross shouted incredulously
"Errm, I will tell you about it after we finish her off" David avoided the question as the two men closed in on Sabrina. | | Take note of an mistake..In the previous post there is a girl call Liza..(That suspose to be Sabrina)I apologize for such mistake.. | | for CrossXVamki:never mind continue whats next ? | Thus, the duo struck at the weakening dragon, trying to overwhelm it. But, Sabrina split herself into two dragons, trying her best to handle both of them at once, but the dragon were each weaker and smaller then the original, though the two tentacles that were cut off had regenerated.
"What? If she keeps doing this splitting, won't she be virtually invincible?" screamed Cross.
"No, to split herself into two equal dragons requires a lot of control and effort, regenerating those wounds would also have consumed a great amount of mana. Don't forget, she is primarily an illusionist and illusion are meant to deceive and confuse." explained David.
"Oh ya, I forget about that fact." mumbled Cross.
The 2 dragons charged ferociously at David and Cross, trying to push them back.
But, ready for just that, David produced several pillars of flames, engulfing the dragons while Cross countered the charge directly with his boomerang swords, showing excellent co-operation and teamwork.
The combination of spells and sword totally destroyed the dragons.They both shattered into pieces and the magical energies released twirled and combined themselves into one: Sabrina in her original spirit form.
Sabrina knelt on the floor, panting for breath, as the dust settled and our heroes walked up to her
Cross pointed the tip of his sword at Sabrina and said "This is the end of your trickery, Sabrina. Hand over my friends or be banished forever."
"Banish??...me???...Hahahaha..hahaha...HAHAHAHAHA" cackled Sabrina her sinister laughter echoing through the entire room.
Sabrina smirked and answered "You have no idea who is within me."
Suddenly Demu's face appeared on the left side of Sabrina's and Yuki's face on the right. They were unconscious.
"That was how I could use their power against you. I have absorbed them into myself...Wa hahahaha..WAHAHAHA"
All of the sudden, David grabbed Cross' sword from him and stab Sabrina with all his might through her heart.
Sabrina looked up at David, stunned, then she smiled and shattered into pieces like her dragons before her.
"Hey, my friends were inside her!" screamed Cross, grabbing at David.
"They are free now, her death released them. There would be a golden cage in the library. Go! Release them!" demanded David.
"You are not coming with me?"
"No, I should have told you a long time ago. I died 10 years after Sabrina died. I discovered that Sabrina's house had become haunted, so I wanted to enter and see for myself if it was Sabrina's spirit that haunted the house. But what I found was Sabrina's vengeful spirit, and she was completely out of control. She would kill anyone in her way mercilessly. I ended up as one of her victims, trapped in here, but I committed suicide before she could deal the killing blow on me. Thus, I had time to think of a way for her soul to rest in peace, since I was not under her control or absorbed into her. All this for her...at the cost of my life."
"It's all my fault. If she wasn't in love with me, she wouldn't have had to die. But this is what I feel I deserve for my errors. Now her soul can rest in peace. I have no more regrets or anything, I too can rest in peace now." explained David.
David too, began to shatter into millions of pieces. Magically his remains and Sabrina's began to sweep together and combine and slowly formed a simple painting. The painting had both Sabrina and David living happy ever after in a home on a hill with a beautiful sunset in the background.
Cross ran to the library as fast as he could and, just like what David had said, Demu and Yuki were lying unconscious in a golden cage.
Cross focused his last mana and broke the cage door with a blasting spell and gently awakened Demu and Yuki.

Cross,Yuki and Demu slept in the David's mansion after a rather tiring day and on the next day, they got onto the road once more to complete their own quest
The Grand Plain
12:00PM
After a few hours of traveling, they reached the Grand Plain. They looked out upon the distant horizon and then vastness of the field in front of them from a high cliff and decided that it was a good place to feed the horses and take a break before continuing on the quest.
Suddenly, a horn was blown, resounding through the air.Loud rumbles of what could be a stampede could be heard from both sides of our heroes. Out of nowhere, 2 large armies appeared and the 2 forces begun to battle in the plains.
One of the armies was a combination of different beasts; minotaurs, harpies, griffins and their kin.The other army was a large number of Guragami. Small meteors begun to drop from the sky like siege weapons shots, devastating the opponents and bringing more Guragami into the fray.
"It's the Guragami, though this is but a medium-sized force. I think we should help the other creatures out" suggested Demu.
"Hmm, alright, but you have to tell me more about them after this battle. I'm quite interested in these beasts" requested Cross.
Cross and Yuki charged into the battle, killing every Guragami they could see, while Demu remained on the cliffs striking Guragami with spells.
But their numbers seemed to be an endless tide.
Cross started to pant for breath after killing a huge number of Guragami and relaxed a little. A Guragami took the opportunity to backstab Cross but a minotaur came to his rescue and slammed the Guragami away with its weapon.
"I thank you for your help,human. But who are you?" asked the minotaur.
"I'm...", Cross paused while he shot a Guragami behind the minotaur with his Mana Blaster spell, "..Cross. And who are you?"
"I'm Captain Duoax.You are a very talented warrior. Same goes for that human girl. But we are totally outnumbered here. Their number seem to be almost infinite. I apologize for dragging you into this" said Captain Duoax.
"I have a plan.You order your army to retreat and I will handle everything. Take the human girl and sorcerer along, but return once you see me execute my plan."
"You? Alone? You might be a talented warrior, but you are a fool if you think you can handle them all. They can overwhelm you if they all struck at you together"
"Don't fear, just do as I said." demanded Cross.
"But.."
"Don't but. Just do it"
The Captain took out a horn and blew it. The beast army begun to retreat as Duoax grabbed and dragged Demu and Yuki along with him.
"What's he trying to do? Commit suicide?"asked Demu.
"He is trying to kill all of them at once."
"You mean you know what he trying to do?"asked Duoax.
Yuki just look,smile and reply with a simple "Yes"
Cross looked back at the retreating army and after he saw that the army had retreated out of range, charged into the center of the Guragami army and begin to cast a spell.
"Solar Daemon Lus Samus!!"
Cross begun to levitate up into the sky and the sun's rays seemed to be absorbed by his body until his entire being shine with light that was brighter than that of the sun and all that could be seen was Cross. | | fantastic, continue continue.
