I suggest you try several but try to specialize in one, as the jack of all is master of none ;) |

Each and every faction has its ups and downs. THe best faction will always be the one you lose to IMHO. |

pvp - necro, knight
hunters - dark elf, elf, wizard
all rounders - demon, barbarian
all in all, if you wanna be complete, choose 2 factions and stick with them. |
It really just depends on what "level" you are referring to as well...
In my opinion best Thief: Dark Elf (always) and Elf (up to lvl 10, then not so good)
Best PvP lvl 10+ (Group Battle): Barbarian and Demon
Best Hunter: Wizard (need high faction level though), Dark Elf

IMO :
Knight is best in PvP at all levels above 3 with a few exceptions
Elf is best hunter (below average in PvP) while DE is only good at levels 11+ and wizard's spell damage is WAY too low except vs ghosts and appiritions
Necro and Wizard are very good all-arounders and are good in survival (wizard at level 8+)
Barb and demon are good in alot of things, and can compete with every faction while doing alot of damage.
The Dark elf is a pain in the ass in:
-Group battle
-Hunts
-EFO
-Duels
-Thieving
In EFO and Thieving DE is the best, in the other things they are below average but still good.
Again:

You hear it, master 1 faction because mastering 1 or 2 factions is better then be 'quite' good in all factions |
