i tested both luck + amulet of luck and basic moral + medal of courage . as i remember for duels moral is better . moral trigger each move not each physical attack. remember that your druids use lightning in the first two turns . so they wont get luck . but they may get moral by casting spells .

and moral amulet is cheaper than luck amulet if you are going to use one .

but for hunting i think luck is better :) since the chance of lucky hit will be more when the creatures reach you bowman's range . but moral will help much too .

im still not sure which is better. just test them both and see which one fits your ideas better :)

you really played great :) .i think the necro was too lucky :( and by the way why dont you use bless ? bless for bowmans is great ( i think ) MAYBE you shuoldnt have opened the way for dead envoys to reach your sprite by attacking ghosts instead of two vampires in the second turn .

If i were you, I'd choose +1 attack.

try to take retal from the envoys with your druids and attack with fk. anyway, that is a pretty nasty caravan for your level. efk's would use all the small troops like vamps and ghosts to attack the envoys as well, but you don't have them. anyway, the general way to defeat a caravan is to kill the strongest troop asap.

ive just reached lvl 8 . which formation is better for ambushing ? and do caravans seems easier in lvl 8 ?

WHen efk is gotten, the way is clear
for Head-Shot:

i think it may become easier since efks use battle dance and they are fast too . unicorn can block main stacks and reduce the magic damage :) im just waiting to upgrade fk to efk and then start ambushing . then i will share my experience here :)
#90:

maximum efk, conditioned maximum for sprites, 15 bowmen, 8 druids and max unicorns.

fav enemy:
1. knights: cavalry / champions
2. necro: vampires / vampire counts
3. wizard: gargoyles / enchanted gargoyles
4. barbarians: cyclops
5. dark elf: hydras
6. demon: hell horses or devils as a function of frequency (I got more hell horses at level 8)

settlement:
1. against knights:
a) bowmen in the corner right-down (12:14)
b) druids not split 11:13
c) unicorns corner right-up
d) efk's split in 3 (2 x 1 to block cavalry/griffins to reach your efk and the rest): 1 at 10:14 (close to the druids); 1 bellow unicorns; and the rest close to the caravan hero;
e) sprites close to the caravan hero.

2. against necro:
a) split the bowmen in two and set them in the corner left-down but not too close one to the other for one stack of vamps/ghosts to block both stacks;
b) efk's and sprites 2 tiles away from the bowmen;
c) druids in 2 stacks close to the efk's and sprites, opposing the bowmen;
d) unicorns in the left-upper corner.

3. against wizard, elves, dark elves, player:
a) bowmen surrounded by druids in one corner;
b) unicorns and sprites in 2 adiacent corners (not diagonal);
c) efk's on the opposite edge of the two mentioned corner to create with unicorns and sprites an isoscel triangle (two equal edges).

4. against barbarian:
a) unicorns, sprites and efk's as above;
b) bowmen in one corner;
c) druids in 2 equal stacks: one to protect the the bowmen against 2x2 creatures, and one on the diagonal corner from the first stack (to not be blocked when the bowmen are attacked).

5. against the demons:
same as before, but the stack of the druids protecting the bowmen should contain only one druid, the rest of the 7 being split in 2 stacks, one of three druids in the diagonal from the bowmen and the remained stack in the remained corner.

what about talents and artifacts ? an economical artifact set would be much better :D
talents:

advanced fortune + basic leadership (in my case)

artifacts:

full arts preferable, but if not, as long as you don't catch a thief hunter, you can miss some arts. the most important arts here are those which give you moral and luck parameters at least 2 or 3 (preferable 3) and initiative. attack and defence need to be just decent for the most of the caravans.
what are good stats for elf lvl 7?

Without arts

Question about lvl 9 elf talents:

I have been told to use basic fortune and basic leadership--> rally.
that gives me 1 luck 1 moral and 11 more efk 3 more elven bowman and 1 more druid

but i was thinking about:
expert fortune and basic defense (nothing else to really spend points on)
that gives me 3 luck and 10% less melee damage taken

i really like luck and my last couple battle trying my first option i felt that i wasn't as strong as i used to be because of my every other turn luck that i had at lvl 8

I was just curious is it really better for the first option or the second option.I have heard that alot of player like the rally talent alot, and wasnt sure if this was the case.
