AuthorPrices on TGI
Nothing changed on our server, but prices up to 450k-500k! How you think, is it a long-time or price will return to normal 300k-350k?
They will return back to normal. There is no reason why they should raise permanently. If you are going to buy a TGI, I suggest 350k- 375k as a fair price. Prices of TGI are dropping down and there is no way to prevent it.
he-he, i remember time when Meteorite shard was selling for 2600-2800. Now it is hard to find lower 4000. And what a reason of it? So i am not sure...
How do you define normal? For different people normal is different.

For me normal TGI prices were 600k and meterorite shards were 2100-2300 gold. Players bought and sold TGI at those prices and the shards were that much on the market, but were probably bought/sold at even lower prices on the forums.

Reasons? I'm guessing a combination of inflation and cheaters. Cheaters would decrease TGI value while elements would skyrocket as a result of them wanting enchants.
-.- I sell my meteo for 3800 per piece.. lol
well, I think, normaly is cheaper if you borrow TGI from someone. But cos you are knight lvl 9, you will have hard times with ambushes...
i can understand why price on TGI became lower - people bought TGI for brilliants, got TG 4 level. So more TGI - lower a price. But with MS i don't see it.

Not that many players used diamonds to get TGI.

And on the other hand you forget there are TGI losses:
1.) From cheaters who got blocked with TGIs on them.
2.) From players that were unable to reach TG2.

Also demand will rise over time as the server gets older and more players want to try out TG.

But in the end it's all about supply and demand, which are constantly in flux.
For KAMAZ: Maybe they read about the updates on .ru and they started to buy TGIs to sell them later (players started to acquire 6 TGIs, that cannot lead but to an increase of prices).

For the elements, it's not about cheaters, but mainly about resellers and the low number of players doing merc quests and actually gaining elements. Many of those looted elements are sold directly to the resellers/enchanters. So, on the market there are only resellers and those who don't have any contract with the resellers/enchanters. If they post with low price, they are immediately bought by the resellers, otherwise they try to take advantage of the situation.

And you don't need to be a cheater to get nice money from that business. It needs you to play only marketing in this game.
agree with Pantheon .. 600K .. see our hard work to reach TG 2 and 4 .. :) arts we waste and time .. :) I think our hard work must be paid with a high price .. :P

the reason is that more and more people attained lvl 6 and wanted to try smithing themself. TGI, once you get one, brings 2 more TGI to you, so the general amount double for each player using it; on the opposite, elements vanish, so the general amount reduces faster for each new player getting into smithing.. these are 2 different things ;)
To buy TGI u only need to pm somebody who sell it. U bid 380k via pm, n i'm sure they will sell to u via transfr
There seem to be a lot more people taking off with TGI's recently so I think it is fair that they rise in price.

Perhaps when the Admins were not paying attention as much, people did not want to lend their TGI's out because they were unsure who was a cheater or not, so they went and sold theirs leading to a decrease in price (As more and more went) on the market.(And more competition = Price wars.)

But now that the admins are blocking people, it could be that people who previously WEREN'T lending, are now lending because there is safety in knowing that many cheaters are being blocked/fined. Meaning less TGI'S on the market, so price goes up.

Alternatively it could just be that the demand for TGI's has increased lately, causing the price to shift upwards as the demand increased.

Of course these are only two POSSIBLE THEORIES out of hundreds.

Personally, I think that 400-450k is a fair enough price. Let's just see how long it takes for the TGI's to stabilise.
It seems to me that this is associated with the new updates on .ru

If we get it here then there will be no more rentals as you will no longer get a new TGI at TG2 or TG4 and there is almost no way you can get to TG5 in under a month!

If/when we get this update the only way you will be able to become a thief is to buy with either gold or diamonds.

If you are thinking of becoming a thief I would suggest you do it now!

Hasn't stablized yet since the beginning.....

By stabilise I mean sit in on price bracket (Give or take 10k) for a while. It sat at 400k for at least a month before it started to drop lower. I'm sure it will sit at one price for a while.
Hmmm, I guess players are preparing for the updates to come here. Buy them for 450k when you got the chance, coz the prices will probably shoot to 1M+ ^^

There is absolutely no "fair price" on TGI. It's a matter of offer and demand. With blocked cheaters, there will be less money running on this server, and this should push TGI and Element prices down. On the other hand, people are all too aware of the forthcoming changes on this server (on .ru, Thieves only get ONE TGI at level 5 now!) and may plan to become thief quickly, raising demand.

It boils down to the delay before the latest .ru changes are implemented here. You can hope it will be in a year (the usual delay between servers) but I remember Talents were introduced here just three months after .ru...
It's a matter of offer and demand.

Kotrin of course what I meant by fair is that last 10 TGIs I am aware of were sold for 350K-390K. So when someone puts it for 450 000, its just a speculation I woouldnt buy.
This topic is long since last update and considered obsolete for further discussions.
