AuthorLWM's great economic crisis?
Is it just me or does the factories these days do not have enough gold to hire ppl?How do they get back the money?
1st it was worse b4 AP rule.
2nd question by selling arts to heroes
No money in factory does not lead to economic crisis. Admins keep filling the mines will deepen the inflation we are getting.
There's an "economic crisis" each time admins forget to refill mines after a while.

The lack of transactions in production facilities is easily explained: low level players don't buy any artifact there (AP rules kicks in only at level 5) and higher level players buy their artifacts mostly from the Artifact Shop, cut off from the map.

Frankly, who ever felt the *urge* to buy a wooden shield or a leather helmet?? =)
crisis???lol so many resurse on factory))try buy it=)
buy 4 what reason?
you buy something when you need it and not to just make the economy run,
the only solution is to cut the work places, then the mines allways have
cash and the workers they wait 4 shift change 4 an empty place, like lab in YL!!!!
to buy a wooden shield

Buying wooden shield wouldnt help too much, would it? :-)
I have never had a problem enrolling - sometimes you need to wait a few minutes, sometimes you need to buy an art to make a space (and usually make a profit even if you sell for less than the cost) ... but you can usually enrol as much as you wish.

It is not so. Mercury is the most widely used resource and in YL it has the lowest buying price. Moreover players sell mercury for good price especially in EB in Nickel works.
You also buy arts you dont need to create gold in facility so you can enroll. With good LG level even if you sell at a loss you still make good profit.

People can then sell resources to facility for small profit and then buy more and so the cycle goes . . .
Why don't we make it such that the more you enroll, the lesser you earn, unless you win a battle (thus using up a few points of durability)?

That way people have to buy items in order to enroll....
You mean just like the new update on .ru?
for Cocoon:

That wouldnt be fair for those with a slow connection, as page load slower they would never had any space left. What need to be done is more production facilities (Level 7+ artifacts) so that money go back for the enrollment, so help the economics.
for ISLEofVIEW:
Yup.. With people complaining, the admin may just do that...
how about closing the artifact shop and changing them all to factories?

tons of people buy from it, remember the days when the steel set was sold out

this way the admins won't have to adjust the mines and maybe slowing down this inflation we're in
Also a good idea would be that all artifacts in "Artifact shop" were bought only with resources (equal price but only resources), so that mines would have a better gold balance. And no one would complain about that :)
only with resources

didn't think of that, but that sounds good
money goes into the mines since people would have to buy them to get the arts

the thing is then, what happens to the factory? the factory would run out of gold if people only trade in resorces to get the arts...unless it pays you in resources too instead of gold as a wage
the thing i don't understand is how thnings have suddenly become a problem. a week ago and longer ago, everything was fine and there has been no change at all for ages, so why this sudden change in the number of available jobs? are more people loging in just to enroll? it doesn't seem like that from the number online. when the ap rule was brought in, obviously things changed but that was ages ago, so why the sudden shift?

I wasn't talking about factories, just Artifact shop. Factories are effective as they are.
for RicOz6:
This has always been a problem, but admins adjust facilities every 1-5 weeks, so they work again. They usually adjust the mines more often than the machining and factories since when the mines run out of gold, a lot of players complain.

I believe all this would mostly be fixed now that Arctic is here to rid us of the cheaters. I think the cheaters create a significant drain on our mines when their multis enroll and never buy resources. The gold is then funneled to the mains who buy shop arts, hunting arts, thief arts, tgi, and elements for enchanting.
This topic is long since last update and considered obsolete for further discussions.
