First hit with Cavalry to Lorekeeper? While Gargs where it the range. Cavalry got lucky so gargs should be dead.

I read the future change around Oct. 25. I was nervous to rush TG then.
Fortunately I have been using min ap for ambushing all the time and luckily
got the text quests started soon so the EB <-> ST was a good route to ambush.
I completed 150+ TG points in 3-5 days, with 50 wins some day. |

in my opinion i think elves are the best theifing faction at the higher levels
Elves were good before updates. I usually use elves with min ap to decrease
size of caravans. Only if efk got a chance to rush in and wooley, ton's of
fsp came. I could get 0.4-0.5 with efk luckily strike, or ~0.2 for hard
caravans.
But after updates, efk can hardly get a chance to rush in, 3 stacks in
1 strike would be lucky. and elven bowmen are too fragile to stand the
shooters duel with 10 ini. So I would be happy to get 0.2 fsp with elves.
I would not train elves as thieve more. Maybe later elves could be good
at pvp with magic and defensive build and as always, excellent hunter.
I hope there would be some change in HG, so elves have their future as
the best hunters. |
I just lost to the DE "death dealer" caravan (souped up hero, lizards and hydras)
It's interesting. I have made likely 800 - 1000 ambushes already, not sure
how many times against this kind of "death dealer", but I did remember that
I won once against them, only once.

then I probably beat this type of caravan about 10 times maybe more. I don't have a real count, only an estimate. You would probably be able to beat this caravan many more times if you wore more arts. |

this is what i got yesterday for thieving. Since i worked at other stuff from 18:15 to 21:15 (and from 17:00 to 18:00) i think i had a really good run (and i won 5/8 of those battles wearing min arts and i may have managed to win the last one if i had focused more (and not just sacrificed my best units^^ but i wanted to go to bed)
so i'm a happy thief :) :) :) |
I started 2 weeks ago with the new changes and was totally overwhelmed. I had studied tactics, spent a whole level 6 castle for barbarian and really had a plan. I was saving gold and did only about 3 fights in level 6 to get TG2 within this level.
Well, my plan was totally useless with the new map, I lost a whole day with barbarian tries.
well, I started as 0 skill barb too and without much hurry made it in 13 days (2 of these I was mostly offline)
0-1 skill was tough vs players, but after several experiments with setup it was just fine. |
